Good connectivity and network speeds.
Bluetooth and Wireless connectivity work great, was a massive improvement over a USB WiFi dongle in terms of both network speed and more consistent connections.

Excellent reception. Replaced a dongle which had terrible reception. A big improvement

Finally, fast internet
If I had known that switching to a 5hz wireless router would solve all my internet woes I would have done it years ago. I simply undid a screw, removed the old 2.4 hz one, added the new one and it worked off the bat. Nothing else needed. A life safer and excellent value for money.

Wouldn’t recommend
Arrived in a box with no drivers. Tried to look online for some and found a website based in china that lists drivers for a number of products. Found this model and it only supports windows 10. Really disappointed.

Good value, Intel hardware
Purchased to add WiFi and Bluetooth to a Dell Optiplex small-form factor (SFF) PC. Comes supplied with extra mounting bracket for SFF cases, and a cable to connect the card to the USB header on the motherboard for Bluetooth (our Dell motherboard had extra pins on the connector side, but the plug has a blanked off pin, which you can match up to the pins on the motherboard to locate the correct orientation/position). Seems to work great. Drivers installed via Windows Update, both Intel - so assume that's the chipset its using. Bluetooth seems to be 4.2. WiFi is dual band/WiFi 5.

Caused my PC to crash several times
Initially I was very happy with this as it installed easily and the computer picked up the device and automatically installed the drivers. After a couple of weeks use though my computer crashed and then wouldn't load into windows. I was eventually able to get it into safe mode and reinstalled the device to get it back working again. A few weeks later it did it again and to avoid constant issues I decided to return. Its possible that if I had spent the time searching for the updated drivers I may have been able to resolve the issue but I didn't want to run the risk. As I recall it came with a cd with drivers on it but like most, I no longer have a CD drive, so instructions on where to download them would have been useful. If you are tech savvy you may not be fazed by having to track down the drivers but for those of you who don't want the hassle I would recommend looking elsewhere.

The WiFi card came brand new and works perfectly fine. Luckily, a smaller metal holder was provided with it, so you can change it, in case the default one is too big to fit. It has both WiFi 2,4 and 5 Ghz, and Bluetooth capabilities. It does its job just fine.
