Worked for me, sleep has improved since I started using it
This is a little device that you hold in your palm and it sends either calming or energising pulses depending on the setting. I have been using it at night as I go to sleep in the calming mode. I've been able to record if it's worked for me as I wear a Garmin Fenix 7x smart watch which has quite advanced sleep tracking. Due to stress at work and job worries my sleep for the past month has been very poor - my watch records it as "interrupted, poor" amongst other quite scary terms! The first few nights I used the sleep aid, it was quite jarring at first as you notice the "shocks" it pulses to your fingers, and I did wonder if I was using it correctly (I think there should be more information on correct usage, and exactly how to hold it in your palm, which way the metal bit should face etc - it's fine, but it would be nice for peace of mind). I think that at least some of the reason why it's worked for me is that instead of worrying about work, and the house repairs, bills etc etc, I was thinking "hey that's actually giving me an electric shock!" - it's not painful or too unpleasant, but was enough to stop me dwelling on life's problems - and I drifted off to sleep quite quickly. I woke up and my watch said I'd had "good recovery" - and my sleep score had improved! I don't think it's a coincidence and the next night was the same. A week later and I'm still using it (which must prove it's doing something - or I believe it's doing something) - and my sleep score last night was "excellent recovery". I would have been cynical on the effectiveness of these types of aid, but having actual stats from my watch and feeling better in a morning shows it does work for me - it's been interesting and I'll keep on using it!

really works
I never knew such thing as a sleep aid device existed until a friend of mine recommended this to me. The sleep device is of high quality, packaged nicely into a little box with the charging cable, it also comes in a choice of colours and styles. I opened the box and fully charged the device, whilst I read the manual, then I played about with the settings whilst I got to know the device. The first night, I put it on the sleep setting in my left hand, as suggested, and that was when the magic happened. I laid in my bed, and immediately felt calm and sleepy, my breathing regulated, my thoughts cleared and i fully relaxed int a deep sleep. I was very skeptical this would actually help but it really does!! I am now into an excellent sleep pattern by using this every night. During the day, my husband steals it from me and uses it in is right hand to regulate his ADHD symptoms. He has reported less anxiety, a clearer head, and less fidgeting, as he concentrates on the little pulses from this, and it really works. So, I would highly recommend this if you have any trouble sleeping, or if you have any anxiety or similar problems, it really helps calm the mind, I don't know how but its a little miracle in the palm of your hand!

It does what it reads on the box give it a try
I can certainly understand how this works on the left and right hemisphere of the brain and yet I cannot say that I was convinced it leaves me a little open to doubt .I cannot say that I disbelieve how this works but I feel it's something that it comes down to it can have a soothing effect if used in the correct way and so I am still sitting on the fence on this and feel that it may affect people differently depending on their amounts of anxiety/stress levels and needs with coping with insomnia I therefore am still not sure . I therefore confirm it's worth a try it's a better way of coping with sleep problems rather than sleeping tablets.

Had to switch it back on so much it's clear it didn't put me to sleep!
It takes a long time to learn how to hold this, and it goes off after about 15 minutes, which doesn't put any real insomniac to sleep. I have started trying to use it when I wake in the middle of the night instead of taking something, and it may help a bit with that, but if you have fully woken up, it's just as bad as putting you to sleep at the beginning. It would be great if the battery life was better (I have found it runs out of a fully charged battery before it accomplishes anything), easier to hold, and the timer was more like 30 minutes before switchoff

3 modes, slow, continuous and random
Better than the Glow Co. Calm Carry device. I bought the calm carry on offer, but it was still more expensive than this, and tbh I like this much better. The calm carry has adjustable strength electric 'shocks', as does this. However it only has 2 modes, whereas this has 3. The calm carry does a continuous mode and a slower, but still quite fast mode. I wanted a mode that was either random, or a slow heart beat. This has both! It also has the continuous mode if you want that. I find the random mode (called soft) the most relaxing when I'm sitting reading or scrolling.
