Well packaged!
I was really concerned this would come shattered or smashed to bits as these are fragile and shipping is rough at times. Happy to say they came perfect, the squares are easy to use and work and taste great! I'm using them for apple hand pies (after frying) and so far have worked perfect!

Hardy wrappers with great texture and taste
As a Vietnamese-American, rice paper is a staple in my house. It's the perfect way to bring in fresh flavors, and we use it frequently for leftovers too. I love these wrappers because they are nice and sturdy but they have great give once softened in water. They are strong enough to hold lots of filling (I have a tendency to over stuff my rolls) without breaking or tearing. I like the square shape because I find it easier to keep everything contained when I can fold the bottom three corners over themselves, in the same way I roll chả giò, Vietnamese eggrolls. These have a great taste which doesn't overwhelm the ingredients, and they have a great texture that is a little bit chewy but not at all rubbery. They even hold up to being rolled, individually wrapped, and stored in the refrigerator overnight, so they make for great lunches.

Square rice paper
These rice papers are square and thicker than the round ones in used to. I usually get out my desired number of sheets prior to preparing the fillings and I did so with these. For some reason they curled and cracked within a few minutes of being out of the bag. This made it very difficult to roll them once moistened and to keep the fillings together. My first attempt using them was a disaster. I warned my husband about this and also that they need to be dampened a bit longer because of the extra thickness. His turned out much better. These are okay once you've got part the learning curve, however, without the bag being resealable to keep them from drying out after opening, I don't know if they will be okay to use next time I go to use them.

Easy, Tasty Spring Roll Wraps
These rice papers have been a fun little experiment for making fresh spring rolls at home. The square shape is surprisingly helpful—it’s so much easier to roll up without everything spilling out like it does with round ones. A quick dip in warm water is all it takes to soften them, but don’t overdo it, or they’ll get sticky and start tearing. Once you figure out the timing, they’re great for wrapping up crunchy veggies, shrimp, or whatever you’re craving. The texture is slightly chewy, which I didn’t mind, and they hold together well once rolled. I even fried a batch, and they turned out super crispy and delicious. My only gripe is the packaging. It’s not resealable, so I’ve been keeping the extras in a zip-top bag. All in all, they’re a fun and versatile way to make lighter, homemade meals without too much fuss.

Great for spring rolls
This rice paper is really thin but holds up pretty well when rolled up. It's pretty much much lighter alternative to a tortilla. You could potentially try to fry it but even eating it just slightly warmed up really allows you to enjoy the flavor of the filling.

MMM, homemade shrimp rolls!
I have been wanting to make homemade shrimp rolls for a long time because I don't like store bought ones and I don't always want all the oil from the restaurant ones so when I saw these I figured I would give it a try. To my delight they came out delicious! Since I have never used rice paper before I was a bit surprised that the sheets come out of the package looking like plastic. I moistened them as directed and they held together perfectly as I laid them on the plate, placed my ingredients on them, and rolled them up. They stuck together very well but pulled back apart when I needed to adjust them. I found them a little chewy but quite tasty. We fried them in oil to crisp up the outside which added a wonderful flavor. I am so glad I found these and will be making many more shrimp rolls in the future!
