Gentle, Effective, and Natural-Looking
I’ve been using HairPrint in Light Brown for a few years now, and happy to see it available on Amazon. It’s become my go-to for gray coverage. I tried the Brown shade once, but it came out much too dark—if your hair is light to medium brown, Light Brown is the better choice. The application process takes longer than traditional box dyes, but the results and gentleness make it worthwhile. It doesn’t have the strong chemical smell or sting that most dyes have, which is a plus for my sensitive skin. The scent is neutral, and the formula is mild. What sets it apart is how natural it looks. It re-pigments the hair rather than stripping and dyeing it, so my hair doesn’t look “dyed”—it just looks like my natural shade again. I only need to reapply it every three months, which is a bonus. If you’re looking for a non-toxic alternative with natural, lasting results, I highly recommend giving HairPrint a try.

A Game-Changer for Sensitive Scalps and Natural Color Restoration
I've been using Hairprint True Color Restorer Dark for years, and it has been a game-changer for me. I have fine, low-porosity hair with a lot of grays in the front and more pepper than salt throughout. This product restores my natural color beautifully without causing any irritation—something I truly appreciate since I have a ton of allergies. The application process was a bit complicated at first, but once I got the hang of it, it became much easier. For me, the results are more like a demi-permanent color, which I actually prefer. It blends seamlessly as it grows out, avoiding the harsh root line that comes with traditional dyes.Overall, Hairprint delivers exactly what I need—natural-looking coverage without the risks of conventional hair dye. I'm a customer for life!

A complete waste of time and money
Wish I could give this product zero stars! Setting aside the pre-treatment protocol over the course of a week, the application itself took hours - and though my hair is fine, not wiry, chemically untreated and only minimally grey (less than 10%, but in visible places), this didn't ungrey the greys. It also changed my hair color from a warm light brown to a very ugly, muddy shade of dark brown. The troubleshooting FAQ says the color may normalize somewhat over the next week or so...fingers crossed.

Not for everyone but great product
As a user for the last two years, I recommend this product for anyone who is willing to take the extra time for a better product that doesn't give the same fake look as traditionally dyed hair. My experience is a more natural-looking color that you can adjust by either leaving it in longer or applying an additional time.Tip - use the gloves to massage Hairprint into your hair instead of trying to use the brush. It goes on much faster and you will be able to more evenly apply. Also, if you have a hand-held shower attachment it is much easier to wash out without a mess.

Love Hairprint works perfectly!
I’ve been using Hairprint for three years after I had to stop using traditional dye due to allergic reactions. It is literally a miracle product as I can’t use anything else.I had a free consultation with their stylist before I began and watched the tutorials on their website. These are crucial for making sure you get the best results. With time and each application it gets easier and more efficient.Love this product and can’t say enough good things about it!

Looked nice, but takes forever, fades after 2 months, and damaged hair
This was the first hair dye I've ever used -- bought to cover gray hair (~5% gray, 95% black/dark brown). I watched several videos and followed the instructions.Pros:- worked to nicely cover the grays- color looked natural- I liked the idea it was "non-toxic" (but not sure exactly what that means)Cons:- my hair felt damaged afterwards (I don't know what step caused this)- some hair loss when showering afterwards- takes a LONG time to apply (2-3 hours)- very messy to apply (significant clean-up)- color lasted ~2.5 months and then faded, so grays were showing through- pricey (but I would be okay with the price if I felt like it wasn't damaging hair)After 3 months, I tried L'Oreal Paris Excellence Creme Permanent Hair Color, 4 Dark Brown (based on Amazon reviews) -- which I preferred because it was cheaper, faster (40min vs 2-3 hrs), better gray coverage, and the hair felt less damaged afterwards. The hair looks more brown (less black) than the hairprint, but it looks natural and nice (not sure how long the color will last since I only tried it a few days ago).

Followed the instructions to a T. Didn’t work for me.
Didn’t work as advertised or as I had hoped. I went with the maximum times recommended to leave the dye in. Darkened by already brown hair a few shades but didn’t affect the grey hair sufficiently to get them to blend in…at all. A lot of time spent for a poor result. My hair looks neither natural nor free of greys now.
