Why did you pick this product vs others?: becuase i have daly product and works fine. Build quality: Good Noise level: no noise Connection quality: App works great and the green light when on/charging is very bright. Ease of installation: Yes, it was more ease if the cables where label. Usb ports: Bluetooth / and the CAN/RS485 cable Functionality: S16 51.2V Battery.

Great bms I've got several of these and they're easy to install and setup

At first, the bms seemed good and the features all worked, but over a couple months they stopped working. The app won’t connect anymore and the over discharge doesn’t protect. I was able to get my 12v battery down to 6v before the discharge device cut off.

Bluetooth communication can be spotty, but it's got a good distance for connecting. I replaced two BMS units in a pair of 100Ah lifepo4 batteries. One had died after a year, the other battery had been DOA. After replacing the original BMS with the Daly bms, both batteries were able to charge fully, and the cells balanced. I am able to use the app to specify *most* of the values it is supposed to change, and connection *usually* is quick and painless. This is where it gets it's 4 stars, not 5. The app isn't very straightforward when it will or won't actually change a value, but the important things (for my usage) have been changeable. When it doesn't want to broadcast the BT signal, I noticed you can force it by hooking up either a draw or charge to it. It's worth what it costs, and if you've got a dead lifepo4 battery that you know the cells aren't completely destroyed, it's worth trying a new BMS.

This is the fourth Daly BMS I’ve purchased - but it will also likely be the last. The first BMS was for a 12v system, and other than not having a good balancing function, it worked as expected. This led me to purchase a 24v and a 48v unit - and those have both been disappointing. The 48v unit died within a week and was replaced. The 24v unit jumps around on the voltage, which can cause protection to trigger incorrectly if you get too close to the charge / discharge limits. Neither have good balancing either. I purchased this unit mainly because of timing - I wanted to get a different brand, it none would arrive in time, so I took a chance on this one. At first it seems greatly improved - better balancing, and more accurate voltages - but now it has started briefly registering incorrect voltage on balance line 7, causing the whole battery to shut down. Warrranty process so far has been ineffective and frustrating - sorry Daly, would not recommend.

I bought this in hopes that it would fix the bad 12v 100Ah LiFePO4 battery that I bought. It solved the problem. I had charged up the near dead cells with a power supply. This BMS brought all the cells up to there fully charged point and balanced the entire battery. The only thing, if I had known 100 % that this was the fix I would have bought the version with the remote readout. Good product, it is working fine, I been checking it every few days since I installed it. Now it's time to seal up the battery pack. Recommended!! Good buy.

Absolute trash. Do not buy. Bought 4. 2 are now bad after 35 days and 1 connector has failed on a third one.
