Novel concept, good addition to the tool chest.
Pro: Great for tight spaces, new and novel concept on caulk guns, works great on plastic and cardboard tubed products, I did not experience any drips or runs after the trigger was released. I purchased the aluminum tool, very strong & well built, but the tube release is plastic!! Only time will tell. Con: Not ideal for aluminum tubed products. Not ideal for adhesive materials. The grip surface embeds itself in the aluminum and it is extremely difficult to remove the tube. The built in cutter deformes the aluminum tube so that it leaks around the internal track and plunger. So if the adhesive (5200) dries the gun is toast.. Still gave it five stars.. It is still a nice tool for some use cases, but don't throw out your standard caulk gun... Know your project, and you'll be fine. Recommended.

Good gadget to add to a workshop!
This is easily the next best gadget to sliced bread! Good design and made of dicast aluminum, I had a plastic one that just broke after the third cartridge........ I accidentally received 2? Now I'll never have to buy a caulking gun again!

Will not work with metal tubes
Works amazingly can see it lasting a lot longer than previous caulk guns I've had in the past the only reason I gave in 4 stars and not 5 is there is one type of sealant I use at work that comes in a metal tube the blade didn't want to cut through it I could've probably forced it but didn't want to take the chance of breaking my new tool or wear out the blade prematurely only other down fall is when using short tubes or if you cut the extra off of a long one it's not that easy to remove and replace I had to put the tip of a tube in a vise to remove it but with all that said would still recommend buying this

User friendly & compact!
So much easier to use than the traditional bottle length caulk gun. We loved the other version so much that decided to go ahead & get the pro version too. This has been great to use any time we installed new flooring or needed to replace caulking in our income properties.

Will not feed cardboard tubes.
I almost exclusively use Silka (NP1) or Solar Seal. This thing absolutely will not pull the cardboard tubes through itself. It seems to work okay until it snags on the cutter, and you might have better luck with plastic tubes. But it was a complete waste for me. I wish they had been more up front about that part, I wouldn't have wasted my time.

Upgrade to your old caulk gun
Siligun Pro, solid aluminum body, lightweight and easy to hold. The trigger is pressure sensitive so the more you squeeze, the faster the caulk comes out. Takes very little pressure to use. Appears to work only with plastic tubes, cardboard style probably won’t feed as well due to the split feature. It’s nice to cut off back of used tube and you have a much smaller tool. Only real complaint, the seal punch in the handle isn’t easy to get out, solid and pretty tight.

Neat idea, but needs improvements
This product would benefit from a couple of design improvements. The handle spacing is quite wide, making the gun difficult and uncomfortable to squeeze. Because of this spacing, the handles also lack adequate grip, causing fingers to slide during use. Additionally, despite being advertised as a no-drip caulking gun, it did not perform as claimed. Activating the release trigger did not stop the flow of caulk, resulting in continued dispensing and excess mess. While the concept is promising, functional and ergonomic refinements are needed to improve performance and usability.

Works as advertised, durable.
Easy to use and works well, great for tight spaces as intended by the design, not very easy to clean but not a major hurdle either, the metal version appears highly durable.
