Perfect 12v solution
Bought this for my Motorhome / RV : and it's a perfect solution, as it runs off the TV without the need for a noisey power converter or generator - I had excellent customer service from Suzanne and the team. I recommend this product highly.

It does work but…
This is an interesting device. I’ve never seen anything like it but I definitely was intrigued by it. The chance to free up the limited space behind the tv on the power strip was something I couldn’t pass up. It really does work off of a usb-a 2.0 connection. But the battery or capacitor powering it has a small limitation. It may not even be an issue for the average tv watcher with a life. The Apple TV draws enough power that on a particularly long binge day the Apple TV will shut off because the power will have drained. For me it was about 12-16 hours in. I get that that is a long time, but I don’t sleep like normal people. I am awake watching tv tv for long periods and after so much time the device needs to build up a charge. If your Apple TV loses power then it says in the instructions that the device will take about 2 hours to build the charge back up. For the average, normal user this works great. But for my needs it just becomes a bit of an annoyance to switch back to a/c power if I want to finish the movie I was in the middle of. I wish it had a LED light bar to tell me how much power was left. Great price for this device and it should work great for the average viewer.

Nifty power device
Does what is supposed to do -- gives you an alternate way to power your APPLE TV unit. You may not be near a plug but you would be near a USB port that provides power. Saves you an extension cord. This is also a battery -- works during power outages.

Works in Theory
At first it appeared that this product was not going to work. Until we realized that it needed to be plugged in to the TV for approximately 30 minutes to begin working. After that it will work for a few hours. But that is about all it can handle. It would not be suitable if you were hoping to have your Apple TV display art, or you were binge watching on a Saturday. However, it will work for short periods of time…and if that is all you need, then it is perfect for you.

Waste of time
Not much to review it powers your Apple TV 4K or it doesn't. No, I'll save you the time. It turned on for 30 seconds. Would reboot turn on for 30 seconds reboot so the only want to use your Apple TV for 30 seconds. This is a product for you.

Great solution for your car!
So I have a device that allows you to plug it into your CarPlay USB port and it basically makes CarPlay think it's a phone. This device has an HDMI port and a USB port on it so that you can plug in anything with an HDMI (Playstation, streaming device, etc.). I decided to plug in my AppleTV, but the AppleTV requires a 120V plug to power the AppleTV.....enter the Mission USB Power Cable! When you first get this device, there is a sticker asking you to charge it with a USB port for several hours. I plugged it in and left it overnight. There are some LED lights on the unit to show you how much the unit is charged. I haven't opened this device yet, but I believe it is just a rechargeable battery with a buck boost circuit to boost the battery power to the required voltage for the AppleTV.Without this device, you would need an inverter to provide the 120V necessary for the operation of the AppleTV, so it definitely suits a much needed function. The build quality is very nice and it should be durable for years to come. Installation is as easy as plugging into a USB port and then plugging the other cable into the AppleTV. This is a great value for the money and I would highly recommend it if you have a need like I did! This would also work well if you didn't have an outlet near your tv for the AppleTV to plug in to, but did have a USB port on your tv.

Draws too much power from usb port
This product worked for a couple of hours and stopped when I tried to switch apps on the Apple TV. Tv had a warning that popped up saying that the device is drawing too much power from usb port. The tv is a Sony Bravia, have not tried using with other brands.
