Moon Washington (Moon Handbooks) Paperback – June 28, 2016

Used this book on a trip to Washington--we hit up a lot of areas including Olympic National Park, Mt.. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Baker, Columbia River Gorge, Seattle, etc. Excellent information and suggestions. Good focus on the outdoors. Writing style made for easy reading (travel books can be tiresome to read cover to cover--which I did before the trip).A few items were described in a confusing manner. We had difficulty finding the way to the bottom of Snoqualmie Falls and had difficulty determining where the craft vendors and Gum Wall were at Pike Place Market. But most other tips--especially ones like where to buy a permit to park at Cape Flattery--were spot on.Washington state has a LOT to see and do, and this book does a great job covering it.

This is an excellent detailed book which has been quite beneficial in my Planning for a "Mid-Summer Adventure" to the San Juan Islands, the Olympic Peninsula and to Seattle!!!!! It opens up valuable information not found in many other guides. I will bring this book on my "Adventure!" I have highlighted so many things to see and do!!!!!!!!!!

Took forever to get and really lacking on the things that travelers really need for visiting a new place.
