My RamblingsMy kids love large, destructive, carnivorous, terror machine, a.k.a. Dinosaurs. They have since they were knee high to a grasshopper. Something about those terrible, thunder lizards that still fills their imaginations and hours of fun. So let's take a look at this off brand T-Rex.To the Point or TL;DRLights up through middle just like a brand name one (which we own a couple of). Lots of screw holes on the right side and kids don't care. Tail is fun to pop off (more on that below). It Roars and chomps. The chomping is done manually by pushing the button repeatedly. Remember when we made all the movements and noises? Good color and details. Decent, inexpensive option to the brand name toy that will end up in the bottom of the toy box in a year or two or less.The Good StuffThat tail thing. The tail is fun to pop off (by pressing the button) when another dino attacks, just like a lizard's would. My kids love it as other dino can put it in their mouths and shake it all about. The thrashing is something to see. They then stick it back on and do it again. Good sounds and light show. All of it is done by pushing the various buttons repeatedly. Mine dinos fight constantly. I think the asteroid saved them from a slow decline. Anywho, the kids love these as much as their brand name ones and you get to save more than a few bucks in the process.The Bad StuffSome screw covers would be nice. Even some cheap pop in ones. Maybe it's just me. Wait... it is. My kids don't care.Who May Use/Like ItKids wanting to have dinosaur battle royals and parents wanting to save some dough.Me Final ThoughtsWas actually impressed with the quality and details. Sometimes you just gotta by a brand, but if you don't... This one will fit the bill nicely.That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Our little 5 year old recently decided he wasn't all that into race cars anymore and is now nuts about all things dinosaur. It's all-dinosaurs, all the time!This T-Rex toy was a Christmas gift for him and six weeks later he still hasn't put it down.The build quality is excellent and its movement and "roar" are very realistic which keeps our little guy interested and engaged as he's trampling the Lego cities he's recently built.

The media could not be loaded. This is a pretty cool looking dinosaur in person. I got this for my daughters because they always love my nephew's dinosaurs and godzilla toys and wanted them to have one of their own.You do have to assemble the dinosaur a bit, but it's pretty simple. It seems nicely made. The buttons you have to push on its back to make the head & tail move are a little difficult to push down. My 4 year old has difficulty doing it and my 2 year old can't at all. The sound is okay.. it scared my 2 year old a little. I don't quite understand why it glows but my 4 year old thought it was a cool detail. It's a nice size for the price!

This dinosaur toy is a lot of fun for my kid. It makes sounds, the mouth moves and it feels durable. It’s a good size toy too. It’s perfect for my Jurassic park loving kid.

This product is likeable for the age of the chold purchased for....but, it really isn't what is described. The plastic is subpar, motion is adequate.Overall not a horrible product.

This is Trex loving 3 yo Approved toy! My grandson has certainly enjoyed playing with it, making the lights go and the sound of his roar. He has played with it for hours and it's still going strong. I recommend this item for your young one too.

The construction is top-notch, and the way it moves and makes sounds is super lifelike, which really captures our little one's attention and keeps him entertained. The sound feature went out after a while.
