This is really a product people will buy if they have already bought into the KitchenAid range. It's not cheap and you can get a hand mixer that works perfectly well for a lot less. However, it is a high quality product which will give a certain pride of ownership and is very nice to use. The 9 speed model is a worthy upgrade over the cheaper version and the speed range is excellent. Noise and vibration are excellent for a hand mixer and it is quite quiet and smooth. The bundled mixer tools are of excellent quality and will cover the vast majority of needs, they are provided with a storage bag which is a nice touch. If you have not bought into the KitchenAid range then it might be hard to justify the price, but for KitchenAid users they are unlikely to be disappointed.

This is by far the very best handmixer I have ever owned!I love the fact that there are 9 different speeds, I love the different types of attahments I can choose from., so that depending on what I want to achieve I can choose the correct tool for it.I am someone who prefers buying quality gadgets rather than cheap ones.

I already had a fully functioning hand held mixer but it was just too heavy and splattered batter everywhere: no longer. This is worth every penny, and I love it better than any other I have ever had. The predecessor has been gracefully retired and this one is in constant use.I like that it can sit on its end when needed, without it toppling over. I also very much like the way the speed is organised - a small manual switch which always by default starts off at a gentle slow speed, then you have a separate digital power switch just next to it which gives super control of going up and down the power scale. Any doubts I had about it being underpowered have been seen off - this is a great mixer. It took a bit of working out how to fix the beaters in but they all have their little quirks, just need getting used to.A nice touch is the little cotton draw string bag for the attachments: it has pockets inside to keep them organised, and it keeps them clean and all together in the kitchen drawer. A bonus is, my husband commented on how much quieter this one is compared to the previous one, and it’s true, it doesn’t drown out all conversations within 10 yards. Happy cook here!

but I found the tiny buttons on this mixer quite fiddly and not very user-friendly. The “on” button, which moves to the left, goes against the natural way of switching on appliances, which is typically to the right? However, the power of the mixer was actually quite pleasant, and it does a good job of mixing. I decided to return the mixer for a full refund, which was hassle-free.

For many years have been looking for a quality light weight hand held food mixer. This one ticks all boxes. Very easy to use, can stand on its end inbetween adding ingredients with no spillage, easy to add tools which come in a lovely little bag and so easy to clean. One very happy customer thank you.

The sound is low, good product

Worked fine and was very happy with it until 2 months out of warranty, then started making horrible grating noise above one of the beaters so unable to use. Kitchen Aid UK impossible to contact - are apparently unable to accept emails and the phone line just rings out and is never answered.Name and price no guarantee for what I thought would last a lot longer than the cheaper brands.
