Works well, good model for 3D printing

I'll keep it short, best 3D printer I've had. You absolutely need to make an adjustment in any software you use to increase the bottom layer exposure time to avoid failed prints. Since changing the settings I've not had one failed print in over 100 mini prints. Also, a tip is don't use the supplied card to level the build plate, put the vat on, make sure the build plate is attached but bolts are unscrewed. Then lower to zero into the vat, use one hand to gently apply pressure over all sides and tighten the bolts. YouTube will a friend to help if too confusing.

I am very pleased with this machine, I ordered this after ordering 2 different anycubic machines that needed returning after 3 prints each due to screen failures. I wish I had gone with this machine first. I cant give full stars on tech support as I haven't had to use it. as for adhesion, I have had a couple of failed prints. mainly at the start, the level card that comes with machine is too thick, after a little research online I used a single A4 piece of paper and that worked perfectly. need to level frequently to avoid failed prints as can become unleveled while removing prints, overall I am pleased with this machine, I've only used factory settings so far and haven't explored at full speed so prints are taking a little longer than I'd like. print quality is great, even at 0.050 layer height, layer lines are hard to see. looking forward to printing something of HD to get the most out of the 8k screen. I'm very new to resin printing so still got a lot to learn, however I would definitely recommend this machine for a novice like me. I have so much I want to do with this machine, I don't have enough time in the day lol. the print software that comes with machine is OK, I do use it alongside another program as its only basic. at the price of these printers, it would be nice to be given the pro version with the purchase. but unfortunately you would need to pay about £160 a year for it. this is the only disappointment I have. all in all, thank you Elegoo for producing this machine, I look forward to more exploration to its capabilities when I'm more experienced myself.

Good item

I bought this printer & was initially very pleased with it. It was easy to use & the print quality was excellent. Having owned a number of resin printers over the years, this is by far & away the best one. HOWEVER! After less than 3 weeks, the printer developed a fault. Every time I tried to do a print it would go through it's self diagnostics & would find a fault with the lCD screen. I would check everything but no problem could be found, but I did discover that if I over-rode the fault the printer would print normally. I contacted Elegoo customer support about this & over nearly a week of emails no solution was found or even a sensible suggestion made. Eventually they asked me to dismantle the machine that was less than a month old to try & discover the issue myself. I am nether qualified or dexterous enough to do this. Regardless of that, I found it hard to believe that I would be able to get a refund on a machine I had dismantled myself whether with or without Elegoo's apparent consent. After a few more emails & said I wanted to return the faulty unit & get a replacement, I was told (very ominously) that this would "take a lot of time". To cut the cr3p a opted to buy another printer & return the faulty one through Amazon. Even then, they tried to make me wait a month for the refund. Thankfully, following a number of fairly heated phone calls with Amazon, I now have my refund. Overall, a pretty horrible experience.

This is turning out to be an excellent machine. I started using the Rapid resin to go with it and I am getting prints in a third of the time.

Where do I even start? I purchased this item and it arrived quickly via Amazon (the only thing that went well). Upon opening I noticed that there was no UK power lead, just the power adapter! I did not have a suitable power lead so had to source my own (a standard kettle lead) and plugged it in. The printer would not power up! I checked the power brick and the light was not illuminated. I checked the kettle lead on other items and it worked perfectly, so not only was the original lead missing but the power brick was faulty. I contacted the seller YC TECK and as it was a Friday evening no response other than a generic email saying they would look at it Monday. So this was wonderful, after all the build up to getting this printer I had nothing. Monday swung around and at 4am I received an email asking me for photos!!! Not much to see in a photo but I duly sent them over. Obviously by this point I realised that due to the time the message came in and the lack of a response to my photos clearly this was a person in China. At this point I knew that that this was going to be a long and troublesome process so I asked Amazon to exchange it for me. Nope, no exchange possible, only a refund. Better still I had paid for this on finance through Barclays. I queried this and was told that I have to sort out the finance with Barclays! So here I am now, I have a non-working printer, a finance agreement with Barclays I have to get out of and at the end of all of that I have no printer. I have spent a small fortune on associated items for this printer that I cannot return. This is simply not good enough, why do I have to suffer that inability of companies to produce items that actually work and then not even have to processes in place to solve issues? Added 14/07/23: Further contact from YC TECK stated they had read my email 'carefully' and acknowledged the lead was missing but said the printer not turning on would have to be further examined. It is painfully obvious the issue, so I would venture it had not been 'carefully read'. I would strongly suggest you buy from Elegoo direct as if you have an issue as these China-based companies have nothing in place to help.

Aufbau und Einrichtung waren sehr einfach und intuitiv, drucken sind hervorragend wie erwartet. Der Airpurifier tut meiner Meinung nach nicht, was er soll, da es trotzdem stark nach Kunstharz riecht. Ansonsten aber ist der Drucker super und tut was er soll.

Franchement, je débute dans l’impression résine et cette Saturn 3 Ultra m’a bluffé. J’avais un peu peur que ce soit compliqué à prendre en main, mais au final tout est assez logique. Les premières impressions sont sorties propres, avec des détails vraiment impressionnants, surtout sur des petites figurines et des pièces techniques. J’apprécie beaucoup la taille du plateau : on peut imprimer plusieurs éléments d’un coup sans se poser mille questions. La machine inspire confiance, elle fait solide et pas gadget du tout. Le Wi-Fi est un vrai confort, je lance mes fichiers sans devoir brancher/débrancher une clé à chaque fois. Évidemment, comme toute imprimante résine, il faut être un minimum organisé : gants, nettoyage, ventilation… mais ça fait partie du jeu. Une fois qu’on a pris le rythme, c’est un régal. Pour le prix, je trouve que c’est un super compromis entre machine pro et usage à la maison. Je ne regrette absolument pas mon achat et je la recommande sans hésiter à ceux qui veulent de la précision sans se prendre la tête.

Une imprimante intermediaire tres agreable et qui vaut son prix. Debutant comme confirmé c est une bonne imprimante

Imprimante facile et rapide, je n'utilise que de la résine elegoo rapid avec le profil "fast" par défaut sans rien retoucher tout sort impeccablement bien, pas un seul fail jusque la avec une vitesse supérieure a 10cm par heures en layer 0.1, je ne l'ai pas calibrée au mieux pour grapiller encore mais je suis certain que c'est possible, en attendant avec le profil d'origine en fast la vitesse est suffisante et la qualité trés bonne donc pourquoi toucher? J'ai eu une anycubic il y a deux ans environ, la m3 plus, c'était pas la même chanson lente et beaucoup de fails la c'est vraiment différent, le plateau est assez grand, trés facile a calibrer, facile a enlever aussi, pas de chichi de caméra de pompes etc juste un plateau assez grand et une taille en hauteur trés satisfaisante par rapport aux 20cm de moyenne des autres, avec 26cm il y a de la marge pour faire de grandes impressions. Sous chitubox j'envoie les impressions pas wifi, jamais aucun souci avec les profils par défauts et les soutiens par défaut, bravo Elegoo, la même avec la taille d'impression de la jupiter SE c'est pour quand?

Perfect machine for the newbie with some background in additive manufacturing. The support from the company in my experience was excellent. That's extremely important when you are new to this. Cons: you can feel the technology is still very new, so there are problems which you will probably have with it. If you decide for this monster as your first machine be ready to spend a lot of time with it. I love tinkering so for me it was the perfect one, but I can see how some stuff can be frustrating for some. Sla printing generally is not for you if you need a simple, stress free, affordable solution and or without loosing sleep over it. But if you are ready to use something which needs it's attention every time you are at the right place. The machine works wonderful, it's fast and reliable and prints with exceptional quality right out if the box.
