These are great traps. We had a couple rats in our warehouse causing some problems, we put these out with some fried ground beef and they couldn’t resist. Next day off they went to the great outdoors.

Easy to set up

Extremely thin, light and weak. Saw it trap the squirrel and saw the squirrel escape by simply pushing the door open from the inside in under 10 seconds. Very ineffective product that is easy to escape.

Works as advertised but very thin steel can bend very easily hopefully after I catch the squirrel it don't eat its way through

We had two roof rats in our garage the week before Christmas. I set the trap in late afternoon Christmas Eve and caught the first one about 3-4 hours later (not sure exactly when, as I was busy watching Die Hard). I released the rat into the Everglades and reset the trap around midnight. By the time I woke up on Christmas morning, the other rat was caught in the trap. I drove it out to the same spot and released it and have had no signs of infestation in the weeks since. Not even a mouse. Worked like a charm.

Bought 2 of these traps to stop a chipmunk that kept eating our peach tree fruit. Turned out to be 11 chipmunks, now all happily living together at the municipal park!

Poor quality. The trap fell apart after the very first rodent capture. The bait tray which is part of the trigger mechanism was torn away from the base by the captured rodent. The flimsy tabs which keep it in place are broken off and it’s can’t be reassembled I would return it but the inside is pretty gross with the remains of the struggling critter. I have no idea if a return is acceptable on an item like this.
