Exceeds Expectation for a Machine at this Price Point
The other leg extension/curl machines at this price point are usually the pendulum style where you have an inconsistent power curve because the weight doesn't go against gravity at the bottom of the movement. When you start the movement, there is no resistance. This machine solves this problem with the cable. It applies a consistent power curve because the weight is moving up against gravity. To get the same effect for other machines, you have to get a weight stack machine that's generally over $2k.Pleasant surprises:1. The weight horn is made out of metal. My other Ritfit machine I purchased half a year ago is made out of plastic.2. The pulley is aluminum. Cheaper pullies are plastic.3. The machine is stable even without storage weight loaded. I left the storage weight horn empty and it feels solid.4. The sundial is a heavy solid piece of metal.5. The pop pin handle is metal, not plastic.6. Install instructions are easy. I used my own tools but the tools provided are pretty solid and the wrenches are surprisingly thick for furniture wrenches. I ended up keeping these wrenches. Generally, I always toss the furniture wrenches.7. I was concerned that the foot pad would flex and that the leg furthest from the weights would do less work but it's been very solid.Cons:1. I wish you can change the angle of the seat, especially for the prone leg curl position. Everything feels solid with no wobbles so I suppose if we make the seat adjustable, you'll lose that benefit. Given how the seat slants back, it makes getting into the prone position a bit awkward. You have to flop down. Secondly, I was hoping to use this for hip thrusts by putting my back on the edge of the seat. It's angled a bit too high so you have to wiggle your way into position.2. The back rest is a bit thin and not adjustable. At 5'10", the default seating settings works for me but may not work for everyone else. I was also hoping that there isn't a giant logo on the backrest.3. Some parts came scratched but at this price point, I'm fine with it.Notes:1. Although the machine footprint length is 50.9", the actual length you need is your height since you'll be laying flat to do prone curls. Plan for that. It's my second equipment from Ritfit in half a year and they had made large leaps in such a short amount of time. All my cons very very minor and none of them are a deal breaker. I can't find another leg machine with a consistent power curve for this price range.

Exceptional leg machine
Super easy to set up (took < 90 min) but you need pliers to tighten the nuts. The machine itself is GREAT - I love the pulley for extensions and curls - and the solid metal bar the weights sit on.Exceptional piece of equipment for the price!!

Top tier company
I received my leg extension hamstring curl machine a while back but held out on a review because I was having issues with the unit. One of the front legs was lifting up while I was using it. I contacted Rit fit directly and they quickly sent me an email back expressing interest in fixing the issue. They ended up asking for a few pictures and sent me a replacement piece that they thought would fix the issue. The piece they sent did not fix the issue and upon letting them know they offered to send me out a full brand new unit to replace the one I have. I can’t speak heavily enough with how well the customer service treated me during this entire ordeal. Now for the actual unit, it’s so light you can lift it after you build it if you need to move it. That can be a good thing if you use this for home gyms or don’t require a ton of weight to get a good workout. That being said this product has more than enough weight capacity for 97% of people that could use it (Eddie Hall built people are the 3%).Building the machine is also very easy. I’ve built everything from a 6 post rep rack to cable machines and I can honestly say this was the easiest build. The only “issues” I have with the machine is also something I can’t fault them for since the unit is priced so well in my opinion. The tubing they use for the machine is definitely on the thin side and as long as you’re not smashing on the machine there’s no issues, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable loading up a full weight horn and just lifting and dropping it over and over. There’s also no adjustment for the seat, which is very comfy, so my shorter girl friend has an issue reaching the bar for hamstring curls. Again all small gripes and at this price I don’t mind at all. If this company decides to come out with a more commercial rated version of this I’d jump on buying it just because of how well they treated me.11/10 customer service8/10 durability10/10 build ease10/10 space saving unit

The Flawed Masterpiece
The media could not be loaded. I wanna make it clear right from the get go. I purchased this item a 25% discount, so keep that in mind. The pully lever system on this thing is the selling point and that delivered. The cam, pully, and bearings are that of a much more expensive machine and are worth the money. Its real smooth and the load is contant throughout the motions. I'm 5'7" and it can stretch my quad and hamstring very effectively. The downside on this machine is the light gauge steel used on the frame. The whole fame flexes when loaded past 50% capacity. The pully system has a ratio of some kind so 100lbs feels more like 50, maybe less. Lastly my machine came with a cable that was roughly an inch too short. I was able to compensate adding washers behind the lever arm hard stop. Without this additional the cable would always be in tension. Needless to say there's quality issues. The design here is 10/10. The execution is about a 7/10. They just need to beef up the frame or add some additional gusset.Over I'm happy with it, but I still see missed potential.

Great product and easy assembly!
This was the second RitFit product that I purchased. I've got the squat rack and smith attachments. This stuff isn't your typical cheap material home gym equipment. Assembly is a piece of cake. I'm 6'1" and the seat feels a little short when the back rest is completely vertical, but I just adjust the back rest to the second position and that resolved the behind the knee support during extensions that I'm used to in a gym on commercial grade equipment. Great product at a great price. Will continue to purchase additional RitFit products.
