Good bit of kit. Very good sealed junction box

Quality product which I should have bought in the first place instead of buying a cheaper one from an alternative online retailer which turned out to be utter garbage. This product is sturdy, well designed for simple installation and crucially it's waterproof. Does the job right.

Seems ok but replaced the "quick pin" terminal block with a normal one. The terminal block is loose, not "installed" in the JB. This makes it a little awkward to cable up. The quick pin units are a bit hit and miss.

Feels like a unit that will last. Quite easy to use, with clear instructions. Big bonus point for providing an extra screw for the lid of the unit. One made a break for it and hid in the gravel, so it saved me a lot of trouble. Useful that you can bury the unit, under gravel in our case. Makes the installation look so much tidier.

Installed an outdoor security light (only supplied with 1.5m of cable) and used the junction box to extend the cable to reach where required. The light has now been working for over three years with absolutely no problems.

Used to connect the electrical supply lead to a submersible pump (new pump, but existing electrical cable buried! - hence splice) The junction box worked well, & appears to be water tight. All screws & nuts give firm fixing, with rubber gaskets in place. I have placed the box above the water line, however it is in a place likely to get very wet due to rain water run off to the pump sump area. No issues.

The item is good quality but I have a couple of reservations.. The problem I had was that I was joining two lengths of 4mm cable (that is electrically 4 mm or 32A twin and earth T&E cable which has an overall size of 12mm x 7mm). The holes in the white nylon connector block were only just capable of taking the diameter of the wires. It was really fiddly and frustrating getting all the strands of all 6 wires in place. The connector block screw holes would be fine for lighting 5A (1.5mm) cable or 13 A (2.5mm) cable. For 4mm cable I would advise replacing the nylon connector block with the next larger size. The yellow rubber grommets seemed to compress around the oval shaped cable ok leaving no visible gap around the cable but I'm not sure how watertight the seal would be. Probably splash proof against rain but probably not immersion proof to any depth. I will add a couple of smears of silicone rubber bath type sealant to be more sure.

Montata in un tombino, praticamente perfetta, non un'infiltrazione. Bisogna solo non forzare le guarnizioni per evitare di spezzarle.

Für meine Baustelle habe ich einen Stromkreis für eine Beleuchtung an mehren Stellen geplant und somit benötigte ich eine Verteilung. Dieses Produkt macht einen sehr ordentlichen Eindruck. Sie ist stabil, dank verschiedener Abdichtungen für div. Kabeldurchmesser wasserdicht und hat genug Platz für die Verteilung. Das ich sie draußen anwende, habe sie noch zusätzlich mit einer Silikon ähnlichen Masse ausgegossen, um Wasser gänzlich fern zu halten. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung.

Bis auf die kurzen winzigen Schrauben des Deckels, könnten etwas größer sein, ein guter Abzweigkasten.
