Amazing
Absolutely love this. Was really easy to use and setup. The water tastes so much cleaner and nicer. I only needed to figure out how to unlocked the safety lock apart from that it was clearly easy to see what you needed to do. Its so amazing to have cold and hot water without having to run the tap akso saves boiling a kettle or lifting the kettle, perfect for all ages plus disabled people. I love the fact you can choose the size of your drink and the different temperature settings. It comes with a magnetic tray that clips to the bottom also comes with a cap for the tap to stop the drip. Comes with instructions not that your need them as its so easy to work out what you need to do. Its not as big as I was expecting I thought it was gonna be a huge machine but its actually not much bigger than a kettle so fits perfectly.. Love it.

Excellent piece of kit!
Excellent piece of kit. Perfect for me as I live alone and it makes water and hot drinks so easy. No problem with temperatures etc and works very well taking up little worktop space. Recommended.

Looks good, and although plastic, seems well made.
Well packed. Easy enough to set up. Looks good. Possibly a little overpriced, hence the dropping by one star. I have only had it for 24 hours, but I have already learned that pre heating a cup/pot gives a hotter brew, and as I use insulated pots the temperature of tea and coffee is OK. Why does it only have symbols for temperature and measurement? Why not have the actual measurement so that anyone using it would know. With the measurement, you can stop it midstream by just touching a control though. I think it will save in electric, better than boiling a kettle. I used a Brita jug for years and was always happy with the water quality, although the filters are expensive. Overall I am pleased with the purchase.

Pre warm your cup!
Seems great. If your hot drink isn't hot enough at the full temp setting. Then just do what you're supposed todo with certain types of cups. Pre warm them with some hot water before making your drink properly. Add a little hot water to warm cup. Dispose. Then make your drink. Stays very hot. Very applicable to stoneware mugs and cups. Ie the material that absorbs alot of heat very quickly will male your drink colder Saves alot of money on electricity from just one cup making. Taste is good. Easy to use. Trial and error finding out which volume is good for the application. Ie Pot noodle requires x amount volume setting to fill line or different size cups etc Im pretty happy with it

Compact hot water dispenser
This is smaller than you might think and smaller than the A2 and Cooks 4l dispensers I tried. It heats quickly but like the other I tried it probably needs a half cup or so to warm the element, so maybe use that water to heat the cup then throw it away and start again. The water comes out around 95c but typically I could only get the cup water to be around 90c at most even when holding it directly under the nozzle. After the very first run (which sputtered a bit) the water comes out pretty much instantly. I’d suggest that until the element heats this water is at a lesser temperature. There is a nice hidden UV light that kills bacteria when dispensing. If temperature above 91c ish isn’t a priority then I’d say this is one of if not the best water dispenser. Take a look at the Cooks if you need slightly hotter water (I got it to 95c) but the Cooks isn’t as compact or polished as the BRITA

Several annoying features...aslo not hot enough
Its OK....negatives are....Child lock constantly comes on.....no kids here why cant i dissable it. Water temp. Says will go to 95 degrees. Which I have checked with a very accurate sensor and yes the temp got to 94 after running for at least a mug full. So if you just dispense a mug of hot water it will not be that temp in the cup, and we find that very noticable when making a hoy drink such as normal tea where the tradition kettle is a lot hotter ....Water quantity...pre set ammounts are either to little or to much for a normal mug.....no option to make you own custon setting....Filter regularly stops water draining through. Have to take out and shake about under water (as per instructions) to remove air. Should only have to do this with a new filter not every day or so. Volume control for beeps. If you set it to mute, then as soon as you remove the water jug to refill, the sound resets to on again !!!! Just very anyoying.....maybe being a bit picky.....may send back as think could be better for the money...

Very practical and space saving
I’ve been using the Brita Cube for a few days now and overall I’m very happy with it. On the positive side, it’s extremely practical and doesn’t take up much counter space. The hot water is very hot and measures just a few degrees below the adverstised 95 maximum. The ambient water tastes no different from a standard filtered jug and not warmer than the temperature of the water in the jug, which is exactly what you’d want, and the built-in UV feature is a great extra. There are a few minor drawbacks - It’s not tall enough to fit some water bottles underneath, which can be a bit limiting. The ambient water flow is also a little slow but from what I understand this was a design decision to stop it from dripping. I’ve had the water stop filtering from the top funnel to the lower jug twice, I guess this is a filter issue rather than a fault with the machine itself, and both times it was resolved by removing the filter, submerging it under water to release air bubbles and reinserting it. One small design improvement I’d love to see would be a coloured temperature indicator for hot vs ambient water as this would help avoid accidentally pouring the wrong temperature when you’re in a hurry but this is really just nitpicking. Although it’s on the expensive side it has replaced both my standard Brita jug and a boiler on my counter, which makes it feel like better value overall especially since you’re getting instant hot waeter. Assuming it lasts well I’d say it’s been a worthwhile purchase.
