fantastic, clean and effective pre-workout.
I've been a gym and dojo rat since I was 13, I am 38 now.. I have tried more products than most people have ever heard of. I like this one a lot, its one of the best I have ever used simply for the fact that it is so clean, has a fantastic blend of quality ingredients and it works. It absolutely provides an excellent pump and good boost in strength/ energy. You will need to add some creatine and if you're like me and don't respond much to caffeine an additional stim to make it really complete but for the price and quality of this by itself this is the best deal on the market right now by a land slide. I add 5g of creatine monohydrate and just a pinch of ephedra to mine and my workouts are regularly fantastic.. pumps are crazy and my focus and ferocity are through the roof. I really appreciate the thought that went into this product as well, I used to make my own supplements back in 2010 and the synergy of the ingredients in this product is fantastic. I also really appreciate the fact they didn't just toss a bunch of L-arginine as cheap sub par Nitric oxide booster in there because a lot of people like myself cant take it, they instead went the high quality route and used much better higher quality nitric oxide promoting ingredients instead. Needless to say I really like this product and as long as they don't change the formula and it remains at such a good price I will indefinitely stick with this as my pre- workout going forward. I've been using it consistently for 6 months now.

Solid pre-workout at a great price point
After a long day at work, I usually reach for a pre-workout powder to push through a late gym session. Nitrosurge Max is one of the better ones I've tried. I've had stronger pre-workouts in terms of energy, but I've never gotten the jitters or a crash from this one. Going in, I was skeptical of the claims about focus and mind-body connection, and maybe it's just a placebo effect, but I'm a believer now. I actually feel hyper-concentrated on the workout. The powder mixes easily, and the flavor (cherry bomb) is quite good, though there is a hint of that artificial sweetener aftertaste. The bottom line is that this is a great pre-workout for a good price.

Good but wrong sized scoop
The pre workout is good and gives a good amount of energy. But the only thing is the scoop is sized wrong. One scoop holds about 5-6 g of the powder. So in reality 1 serving size scoop is 2 of these scoops. And 2 serving size scoops is 4 of this scoop. Use a food scale

Tastes good
I bought this pre-workout on sale⦠It was a great deal and wish I had purchased more. It dissolves easily and tastes good (I bought blue raspberry). It gives me just the boost I need to have a great workout.

It is OK - not as good as the Green Nitro Surge.
Just some advice, just don't drink this product (no matter what version) too quickly; I once drank half of my 32 oz bottle before my workout and drank the rest pretty early into my workout and I felt my heart pounding in my chest quite hard; never felt that before and never again drank it that fast. They recommend way less water on the label so I can't imagine taking this stuff on 6-8oz of water lol...i do not recommend you take 1 or 2 scoops especially and chug it down 15 minutes before your workout. You may feel like youre invincible, but i dont think I want to find out how that feels...now onto my review... Have used many green Nitro Surge tubs in various flavors and also several of the red Thermo Surge products and I love the green (best taste/sweetness) over the red and wanted to try this "Max" version because the price was was REALLY good. This brand probably has the least number of ingredients for what it is is meant to do and I looked for a long time for something that isn't loaded with junk. On the "Max", taste/sweetness is substantially less than the green version; sort of makes me desire it less. Red is in-between the green and black in terms of taste/sweetness. I got 2 tubs of the Max, so I will use them up. I've tried the "Max" about 5 times (2 scoops - always use 32oz of water and drink about 1/3 10-15 mins before starting workout and I sip on the rest throughout my 2 hour workout) so far (while pausing the green one) and I just cant say I love it. To be frank, I do not FEEL the rush and explosiveness that I feel with the green tubs, and perhaps that is due to the different type of "caffeine" and the addition of Theanine that promotes relaxation and reduces anxiety levels. It does however give me an intense sense of focus/concentration during my workouts and I almost dont even feel exhaustion or being out of breath during resistance training workouts, almost kind of boring to be honest because I have a high level of energy so I feel like I can lift more to use up all that energy (I do feel that with the green version; I get a better pump for sure and I feel the fatigue afterwards). I can go through a 2 hour RT workout and honestly still have energy while leaving the gym. Not as good as the Green Nitro Surge for me personally, but perhaps the "Max" is intended to achieve the same result from a different angle. For me the biggest thing though is the lack of 1) taste/sweetness 2) explosiveness/rush and 3) it is the most expensive version. I recommend the green version the most though.
