Del Mex Mexican Baja Hoodie Hippie Surf Poncho Sweater Sweatshirt Pullover Jerga

Drug rug, baja, hippie hoodie, what ever you call it, there it is. All I want to do is sit by the ocean in this thing. I ordered oversized for myself and the XL is nice and roomy (I'm 6' 190#) - It did survive an initial wash just fine. There is a nice fleecing on the inside to make it soft, this includes the hood & the front pocket.I like the light gray/blue/black stripe version I bought, would love to find another full natural cotton color only.

So when I first got it and tried it on the fit was terrible and I don't just mean that it was baggy. Obviously, that is part of the style, but the bottom hem fanned out like a tent. Additionally, the two tassels on the front stuck out at weird angles and didn't lay flat. I decided to throw it in the wash on the warm setting to see if I could get it to fit better. After washing and drying it as well as tying the split sections of the hem together, the hoodie fits much better. Additionally, I threw on a long sleeve shirt underneath, preventing the fabric's itchiness and filling out the hoodie some more. Like others have said, the fabric does shed some, though I assume this eventually stops. Looking back at the pictures in the listing, I noticed they are photoshopped to give the hoodie a more fitted look which is part of why I went with the Large over the medium. I get that these are hand made so it's difficult to post an accurate sizing chart, but even if it just gave an estimate, it would be beneficial when deciding which size to go with. Overall though, it is nice and comfortable when paired with a long sleeve shirt and I would recommend, though be careful with the sizing.

This was a replacement for one my grandson had worn out and out grown. Very pleased with the new replacement.

Beautiful hoodie but sheds lint like crazy all over any cotton t-shirts sadly. Will attempt to wash and tumble dry low heat and see if this helps.

the hoodie is okay, but it is fairly thin. nice and soft though. the only big issue i have with this is that there are just random pieces of different coloured thread sprinkled in. it was not easy pulling out the fibres with my tweezers but the rest is okay. there are these coarser fibres also in the drug rug, it makes my arms itchy a bit.

My husband loves this, he uses it all the time and says it super comfortable. It does run a little big because he normally fits perfectly into a medium and this looks baggy, and the sleeves go past his wrists quite a bit. Will probably get him a small next time.

I used to have a few of these when I was a younger person. Although they seemed a little thicker then. Still comfortable and warm but on cooler evenings you may need a long sleeve shirt over a tee shirt but under the pullover. Constructed well and all in all I am pleased. Oh the memories...

Pancho was larger than expected. After the first wash and gentle dry, it fit great! Love the color. It’s definitely a lightweight poncho so I expect to use it a lot during the spring and summer

New favourite sweater, fits perfect and nice and warm, not itchy and great style

this garment is very comfortable and I enjoy wearing it. It is very casual and easy to pull over. The only criticism I have is that the seams were not song, tight enough and quite a few of the seams at the sleeve and the hoods are coming apart. However, I still promote this garments and it is worth the purchase for the price.

Cheaply made beachwear, not sure whether it is safe to wash or not. If you need something washable buy a proper cotton hoodie.
