Brilliant projector!
Having owned the Nebula 2 prior to this purchase, the bar was set high. So here are the best bits in comparison. Picture quality - excellent, even in low light, but it is a projector so manage your expectations. Sound quality - very good, nice mids, good bottom end, treble ok. Ease of set up - very good, all the apps I have used offer Bar code set up. Remote control - brilliant, no need to point it at the projector, very forgiving. Software - outstanding, the Keystone feature is brilliant. This is a feature that corrects the actual image to a normal aspect ratio when the projector is above or below the screen. What really is amazing is the angle the projector can be positioned left or right of the screen. One press of a button and the projector scans the screen area, and then adjusts the aspect ratio to fill to my chosen 16:9 In summary, this is an amazing bit of kit. The only criticisms are the chassis/plinth are a bit plasticky, and there is nothing in the way of real documentation. Should you buy one, He’ll Yeah!

GREAT VALUE Amazing projector
Bought on sale for £999 For the price, the feature set and quality is unrivalled. Project is easy to setup Enough detail in dark scenes Super bright. HDR is excellent Google TV works really well, as does eARC with my AVR. Gaming also works really well with PC and PS5 Portability is great. So far I’m just projecting onto a white wall, and I’m still impressed. I’m expecting the quality to only improve when I install a new 1.1 gain projector screen. Overall I’m Really impressed. Only con is the native glow around a keystoned corrected projection. I bought this knowing this and that I would be off angle to begin with, it actually doesn’t bother me like I thought it would. However for best experiences you want the projector as centred as possible to give the best possible image.

Good picture and sound with easy set up.
Really easy to set up once on WiFi, great picture, good outside once the sun set, good inside and easy to move around. Still finding out how to adjust the framing of picture but the sound is excellent, I expected to have to bluetooth to some speakers, which you can easily, but I've stuck with the units own speakers as they are so good. If you're looking for a projector this is highly recommended.

A lot to like
There's a lot to like on this projector. I bought this one as I have a campervan so wanted something portable, but for the majority this is my main home cinema / TV. First off the picture looks great. I'm not a picturephile & I watch a lot of youtube & kodi, but when I put on a large file 4k film it looks great on a 120" screen. At the moment I'm watching this on a dirty old projector sheet until I get my lounge painted with a projector screen wall. And already the picture looks great. So far I have only used this on mains power so can't comment on battery life. The internal speakers are pretty good for general TV use but for a film I use my sound bar which I connect via bluetooth. Audio sync is surprisingly very good & there is a setting within the projector where you can adjust the delay. And the BT sound bar connects autamatically to the projector when switched on. Kodi, easy to install, set up & use. Cons The remote has no tactile feel, the buttons are kinda soft, rubbery, no clicks & when watching in the dark one has to feel about & it's not a quick manouvre. Yes the remote has a backlight but it only comes on when a button is pressed. No smart control, would be nice to intergrate control into Alexa or similar. Quite a lot of light bleed if the projector isn't pointed straight on. Looks annoying to start but I don't notice it anymore & anyway when set up properly I will have the projector position straight to the screen. Lastly, my only concern with this expensive projector is that you only get a 1 year warranty. I previously had a Nebula Solar & just before warranty was up it developed a fault where the screen was just randomly pixelating for a few seconds. Nebula replaced that projector, so I'm hoping this one won't develop a similar fault.

Game changer for home entertainment
I’m so happy I didn’t waste money on a bulky TV unit that would have been stuck in the living room. With the Nebula Cosmos, I have the flexibility to move it anywhere I want, and setup takes just a couple of minutes! The most impressive feature is its ability to project from multiple awkward angles—it doesn’t even need to be directly in front of the wall or screen, and it auto-adjusts everything seamlessly, which is just incredible. In my bedroom, I usually project onto the wall opposite my bed, but I’m lucky to have block-out roller blinds throughout my place, which effectively mimic a projector screen. In the living room, I have a huge balcony window with a single-piece blind, and once I project onto it, the experience is truly cinematic—it feels like having a movie theatre at home! That said, when watching something during the day or in the morning, I hardly ever pull the blinds down, yet the picture still looks surprisingly solid. The built-in Google TV is a great addition, providing access to all the major apps without needing an external device. I did see some complaints about the BBC iPlayer app not being available, but I worked around it by bookmarking the website in my browser of choice. It does take a couple of extra clicks to launch, but it works just fine—and definitely better than AirPlay, which has been a bit hit or miss. While airplaying BBC or other things from my phone worked fine, trying to stream a movie via VLC on my MacBook resulted in sound-sync issues with the Nebula. However, connecting via HDMI cable completely resolves this, so it’s not a dealbreaker. The built-in speaker is another standout feature. I really wanted something powerful enough to eliminate the need for extra equipment like a soundbar, and the Cosmos truly delivers. The audio is rich, multi-dimensional, and incredibly loud—so much so that I often have to turn it down late at night, especially during action scenes! Overall, the Nebula Cosmos is an absolute win. It’s versatile, compact, and delivers a true home cinema experience without the need for a traditional TV setup. Highly recommended!

Bright, sharp picture. Excellent sound
I have owned a lot of Anker projectors (Original capsule, capsule max, capsule 2, capsule 3 laser, capsule 3, Mars 3 Air, Mars 3 and now this one, the Cosmos 4k SE. Although I'm not in any way connected to Anker, I really should get a medal for services to their company!!. I have also owned projectors from xgimi, benq, LG, elephas, etoe and Viewsonic. So... The Cosmos 4k SE... I'm extremely impressed with the picture quality. I can easily get a 150 inch picture on my living room wall that bursts with colour and is pin-sharp in darkness and is also totally viewable in daytime with the curtains drawn. I feel no need to add a sound bar as the sound is better than I expected and has enough base to feel those explosions etc in the films and TV programmes I watch. Keystone in all directions works really well. The remote is thankfully backlit. The operating system is quick and works very well. The only issue there, like most of the other projectors I have had, is that it doesn't seem to support BBC Iplayer but that can either be cast to the projector or I can add a firestick. It's simply the best projector I've ever owned and may be the cure for my addiction because until something better comes out, I'll not be buying any more.. and that could be some time!

Excellent !
I bought this against my existing Nebula 4K mainly for the extra hdmi port for a gaming setup but the lumens on paper is lower. In reality the SE is vibrant and some of the software tweaks like wall colour really give the picture an edge in quality. The detail in the 4K image is crystal clear to the point I think this lifts the image to a point where you consider the image to be closer to oled quality. The hdr does make a difference and 100% recommend this projector
