I pre-ordered the Animal Crossing Switch and kept it in pristine condition, being very careful to not get any scuffs or scratches on it. This case is so hard it ended up scratching off paint as well as leaving two scratches on the screen. This is so upsetting as I've only had the Switch for a week.

Ordered this case for a little added protection for my Nintendo Switch. A little background, I received my switch so that I would have something to do while in chemotherapy treatment so I am only using it undocked and as a mobile gaming system. There are times that when playing at treatment or at home I will get overwhelmed with fatigue and will dose off. So I wanted to make sure I had a case that could handle slipping out of my hands and maybe falling a foot or two onto carpeted floors without damage to the unit. Luckily this hasn't happened yet, but wanted to be safe. I have no idea if this works in the dock since I am not using it that way. I like that is it clear so that I can add stickers to the unit to make it mine (yes, I am a 42 year old man child) and doesn't distract from the color of the joy-con controllers. I am not sure that it would protect anything in a major fall or onto to concrete (not going to test that) but overall I am SUPER SATISFIED with the case and would highly recommend this for a simple case.

Fits Nintendo Switch oled really loose. It just flops right off. Look for a case that has a solid back. You will loose access to kick stand. But it will fit better. Don't buy

So the case is sturdy but flexible plastic. It goes on easy but the edges are almost sharp and I can see why some reviewers said it scratched their brand new switch. My switch is already scratched so I didn't notice this. My biggest pet peeve is that the plastic has a yellowish tint, if I just got it and it's already yellow I can't imagine how bad it's gonna get. I attached a photo so you can see this for yourself, compared to the clear plastic it comes in. I can't recommend this product. It's definitely not dockable, but it's clearly stated that it's not. I purchased the thin Nyko case in addition to this, and it's flimsy, but definitely dockable If you attach it correctly, I definitely like it a bit more, but while you attach it it feels so flimsy.

Perfect case for travelling with your switch. You don't need to remove it to put it in your carrying case, and it adds very little dimensional space as well as being light weight. The edges on the joy cons protrude to elevate the console and add cushion in case of a drop or impact. Seems like it will keep the console from being scratched up as well. The silicone itself is fairly hard, with a little flex in it. It can come slightly unseated if you have the two controllers and the tablet separate, but otherwise it hardly moves. I give it a 4 star review only for the times it slightly moves and the fact it's not a 100% snug fit.

I know I shouldn't give this a four-star because I guess it wasn't really meant to be docked with the protector on but it would be a nice feature instead of having to take it off and on every time I use it in my room. However the protector is not entirely protective in a sentence. if you drop this on a cement floor the system is still probably going to break. unfortunately my floor under the carpet is made out of cement I think they should really drop test these things. But I guess that would get expensive. But I mean what are they protecting from. scratches I guess? But overall it looks okay

I like the case, it's clear, sturdy and it might protect my Nintendo Switch if I accidentally drop it. However, it doesn't fit in the dock. To put it in the dock you gotta remove the middle part of the case from the NS and I dont like that. Aside from this issue, I love the case.(I was gonna add pictures but, for some reason, it doesn't give me that option while writing this review)

Folks, I think you would agree with me if you buy this product about how cheap it feels. I mean it is essentially a piece of plastic with a large hollowed out space. Absolutely no sturdiness whatsoever. Removed immediately and sent back. Cannot recommend. Try the Mumba blade series instead. It’s stackable!

Is great, very happy

I've been using this case for several days now, and I am impressed with the level of protection it provides.The hard plastic is great for protecting from scratches, and does a fair job at keeping the device safe from drops. It seems to do well at absorbing the shock from falls, keeping the device well in-tact.I've managed to drop the device with the case on, and there was no noticeable damage to the case or the actual device.This case is a great value for the solid protection it provides. Fully recommended!
