I bought these for a trip to northern Canada, and was a little skeptical of them when they arrived. They just felt too thin, but I gave them a try on an exceptionally cold day where I live. I was surprised. After walking around a while, I could feel my body heat contained, and the only part of my body that got cold was my face. I recommend that you wear these with nylon hiking or snow pants, not jeans, because jeans are too breathable.These are very soft and snug. Make sure that you order the right size so that they tightly cling to your body, because that's part of what makes them work. I ordered a large, which is my size, and they were perfect.A great value and quality. Highly recommend.
