It has always been a dream of mine to visit Italy. That's why I've been saving up since the start of this year so I can make that a reality. So when I finally saved up enough money to book myself a trip to Italy, I kept thinking about how I could make the most out of my trip. And this random thought just hit me: What if I try to learn Italian? That's how I came upon this book. The cover looked really good and there were a lot of freebies too.From the moment I started reading it, I was immediately hooked. The book offers an engaging approach that makes every lesson easy to follow. I know learning a new language could be challenging, but the author behind this book makes learning more manageable. From a beginner's perspective, I appreciate how this book started with the grammar essentials. I heard Italian grammar could be tough. Upon reading a few pages, I understood how some people may see it like that. The Italian language has a lot of tenses and conjugations. I'm grateful that this book breaks it all down. If you're a beginner too, you might want to take your time in digesting all these.In addition, I was impressed with this book's section regarding vocabulary and conversational Italian. I can definitely see how these can help me during my trip to Italy next month. I don't think I can memorize all the 600+ Italian words before my trip, but I'll be sure to do my best! But wait, there's a difference between European and South American Italian? I never really knew that. It's nice to know these things. Furthermore, the last section which involves interactive content is a great finishing touch to the whole book. The inclusion of short stories and real-life dialogues created a realistic context for the use of the Italian language. Trying to read these short stories was fun. Though it may have taken me a little too long to get through each story, I still find it enjoyable! And thank God the author also included a pronunciation guide. I wouldn't want to sound stupid during my trip. I want to blend and sound natural as much as possible.Plus, the additional resources and perks were a nice touch. Imagine, you only bought 1 book but you'll receive like 7 freebies?! Count me in! So far, I have only used the flashcards and worksheets. The audiobooks were pretty good as well. Very good and clear narration. I can't wait to start the 128-hour video course! I want to wait until my next rest day so I can focus my attention and time on learning Italian. Before I end my review, I would like to address some areas for improvement. I noticed that there were some grammatical errors on the first few pages. It's no biggie though, I just saw 3 to 5 errors. Other than that, I have no complaints! I just hope there will be no issues like these in future editions.What's really great about this book is it offers a combination of informational, yet engaging content at the same time. The vibe is like talking to a really smart friend. Anyway, after reading the book and some of the additional resources, I can confidently say that I now have a pretty solid foundation in Italian. Though, personally, I think it would still take me a couple more weeks of practice to be comfortable in speaking, especially with my pronunciation.

I have been going to Italian classes for a few weeks now and my exams are coming up. I'm desperately looking for additional resources. Then, a friend recommended this book to me. Let me tell you, this book has been a lifesaver! Those 15-minute daily lessons are just what I needed to solidify what I had learned in class. I also loved the audiobook included. Now, I can just listen and learn Italian whenever and wherever I want, no matter how busy I am! Though, of course, I couldn't say that it's gonna be a complete replacement for my Italian classes, this book is pretty good in helping me improve in my classes.

From grammar rules, and phrases, to actual stories, this book has it all. Even though this book may seem like it discusses lots of fields in learning Italian, it's actually very well-structured. Each lesson is simply written. No complex terms, just simple explanations that are sure to stick with you. In addition, the 128-hour video course was incredibly helpful. I'm surprised (again) that aside from the book, I also got to have these additional resources like the audiobook, flashcards, worksheets, and more. So anyway, my girlfriend is ecstatic about the idea of me learning Italian and she's been helping me ever since. It has been 15 days since I started reading this book. I'm not fluent yet, but I'm getting there!

For someone who is a full-time professional with little time to spare, finding a book that suits my hectic schedule is more difficult than you'd think. I'm glad this book addresses that problem quite well. All those lessons about grammar, pronunciation, and daily phrases were short and digestible. It allowed me to study Italian quickly. However, I want to note that not just because you learned something quickly, doesn't mean you retained the information that fast too. That's why those exercises and worksheets were pretty great in reinforcing what quickly I have learned. Personally, I think it would be good to have some additional resources and help like formal classes. But, this book is good enough if you want to get familiar with the basics.

The very first thing I usually look for when reading a book is the layout. If it's pleasing to the eye, then I know I'll enjoy reading it. Well, happy to say that this book did not disappoint in that regard! The clean and well-organized layout makes it easier to use. Of course, that's not all. The book also did a good job with the content. Each lesson was logically structured. The daily vocabulary and phrases, as well as the pronunciation guide, were all well-written. I just hoped there were a few visual elements, like maybe a picture or two. Just to keep everything visually engaging. Other than that, I enjoyed this book.

To be honest, my dumb self thought I could learn Italian just by browsing the web. Like installing applications or reading free PDFs out there. But, it's actually more difficult than I thought. Reading a book approved by native teachers was much more different. It's simple and the lessons were carefully structured to ensure a smooth learning experience. I was impressed, really. Plus, the worksheets and flashcards were pretty great in reinforcing what I have learned. Can't wait to check out the free trial of the video lessons!

This book starts out very simply and builds gradually, not too much in one go. And the accompanying audio for the course is free, and seems to cover the lessons word for word not just a snippet here and snippet there. Although I have not gone through the whole course so far it suggests that it does.

There are practical examples, exercises, simulations of real situations and much more. With this guide, learning English is definitely easier and affordable for everyone.

I bought this book for the simple fact of learning a new language. At first I was in disbelief but the book explains the strategies for learning a new language in a really simple way. But it takes a lot of perseverance to do it. This book is really super.
