Great for making bacon and other cured meats. Make sure you do your homework as there are 2 different versions of this salt. Get the right one for your use. A little goes a long way. So this one bottle will last a long time unless you really love curing meat! Well rated and great price.

I only used a teaspoon for the color. It does what they claim, adds color, and preserves, which you don’t really need with brined meats. And it smells like chemicals.
