Buy TATREEZ COMPANION: Palestinian Embroidery Study Booklet (Second Edition) by Ghnaim, Wafa (ISBN: 9798336897128) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Brilliant companion guide - I was really excited to get my hands on this publication from Wafa. I’ve been following her since I started my interest in tatreez last year. Commenting from a non-Palestinian perspective this companion is a great tool for anyone starting out in the practice of tatreez. I think its size makes it perfect for carrying with me, as I like to take my tatreez projects with me away from home and I am naturally asked questions about it. This companion gives me the confidence to answer them without misrepresenting tatreez and its Palestinian heritage. As a non Palestinian the section on cultural appropriation is an essential reference also. I have no personal interest in monetising my tatreez projects, but there is also a need to understand how to avoid appropriation in other aspects. Again its portability is useful in that there are small projects I can initiate when I am away from home and have a desire to stitch. In relation to the typo mentioned in the other review, this really very trivial and does not take anything away from the intentions of the book. I really appreciate Wafa creating this resource, I’ll be keeping it very handy. Review: Great resource for any tatreezer with useful information and nice patterns.

Comprehensive and colorful book. Bought it as a gift and my daughter loves it. Easy to follow and such a beautiful book showcasing the beauty of tatreez and Palestine art through embroidery.

Nicely put together, and a good introduction to, or addition to other more in depth books you might have, on traditional historic Palestinian embroidery. So much beauty & creativity

Lovely little book. The patterns and photos remind me of my grandmother who left Palestine in her 30s to start a new life. This book brings back so many memories of her handstitched pieces adoring her home.

Decent entry-level book. I would've liked to see a little bit of history accompanied w/ the motifs.
