Works well with mini saw for small branches. Not too heavy and easy to put mini saw on. Seems pretty secure. It can be a little difficult to apply a downward pressure on this when cutting a branch over your head, but the chain may need replacing in my mini saw. This is not going to take the place of professional tree trimming equipment. I’ve hard a professional out to trim my trees and the difference between this one and his full size pole and gas powered saw was significant. But this is good for small branches. It does get a little heavy, but if your mini saw is like mine, the battery doesn’t have a long life, so you’ll be taking breaks to change it out.

No really sure about longevity but for the price on this it paid for itself the first use! Battery has been used extensively and still has 3 bars out of 4! I'm happy with it! With pole completely extended it has a little weight so maybe practice a bit. Chain is sharp and after adjusting had 0 issues with it. I've tried one other but returned it due to battery problems but I'm keeping this, very useful!

Damn, this is a great new tool! It works really well—I was really putting it to the test, and it held up. I love that you can take it off the pole and use it handheld too. It’s way better than dragging out a giant chainsaw. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend. It’s not super high-end, but it’s good enough to earn 4 stars and get the job done. I got a quote for $800 to cut some branches, so I figured I’d buy the tool and do it myself. Go get this one—it’s solid.

I had been looking for a pole chain saw with a number of different features from length of the pole to tilt adjustment of the saw itself when attached. Most with these features were $300 plus. When I received this the next day after shipping I put it together and took it out back for a trial run. This was easy to put together, cut effortlessly and and after taking down a fairly large 6" in diameter 30 foot branch and then trimming all the branches it still had 3 lights lit for power. I am very pleased and would strongly recommend this pole chain saw to anyone looking to save money and get the job done !

I am very familiar with chain saws using them for more than 35 years. I used these cordless twice and initially very happy with the sharpness and performance.After 2nd use on a 4 inches tree stopped working making a clicking sound. I recharged the battery and checked the chain but still didn't start making clicking sounds. I returned because I am afraid of the durability.

It’s works pretty good but it’s pretty heavy and I am a big strong guy

Works great for smaller projects and is easy to operate.

I had many tree branches growing on the house and near the cable and power lines attaching to the house so I wanted to cut the branches before they became a big issue.The saw goes together easy. But it has more flex in the pole when using the extension. It does a nice job of cutting limbs, as long as you don't exceed its rating. It will cut larger branches, but it take more work. I was able to cut 2" limbs without problems. It is an interesting setup with the controls and battery on one end, and the motor at the saw end. It makes it slightly top heavy. But once you have it in place, and weight helps with the cut.
