BRILLIANT VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN FOOD!!! "Pulled pork" for those who don't eat meat!!
FANTASTIC! I remove the harder core bit, chop, brown in a very little oil of choice, then cook in whatever strong flavoured base you want.Treat as meat when cooked, "pull" it with a fork as you would pulled pork or beef and voila it tastes the same. It takes up the base flavour so from one tin I have made a beef flavoured stew and a chicken flavoured curryJust remember it has almost zero flavour itself so needs strong flavours to cook in.So if you're a veggie or vegan there are plenty flavourings beef, chicken etc style. If you're a meat- eater who is becoming sickened by the appalling cruelty that takes place in the meat industry - try it - no cruelty and slaughter necessary and I think you will be very pleasantly surprised!

Great food, Great service!
This product in itself is phenomenal! Since going 90% vegan even my children eat this as a pulled pork recipe & they love it! The customer service is brilliant. Any problems & they get back to you straight away & actually solve it! Second time I've bought jackfruit & will continue to get it from these guys :)

Food things
I purchased this as a trial not having heard of it before and watching a you tube presentation,it works well in a stew or stir fry taking up the taste of whichever mix you use ,The presentation I saw showed a pretty young Asian girl cutting it up and eating the flesh and obviously enjoying it ,I would imagine it must have been sweet so that's what I would like to try if available

Strange and different but it works
I have a daughter who is vegetarian and was looking for something 'different' to cook over Christmas. This was 'strange' but worked very well and we were very pleased with the product

Great meat replacement!
Finally got around to cooking these Jackfruit in Sri Lankan curry. Perfect & a great meat substitute.

Ok but not worth paying over the top for
This is really expensive for the quality you receive. We purchased a different brand Aroy-d from Wing Yip for £1.10 per can and it cooks better. The heera one stayed very tough.
