Simple, cheap & easy little upgrade
Works perfectly, great value for money. It was either this or a full motherboard replacement. The install was simple, no fuss. Great job!

Easy to install and worked immediately using Windows 10
I have a collection of MIDI Keyboards, Controllers, Drum Machines, Sequencers and an Audio interface, all of which required a reliable USB port so my Windows Desktop PC soon ran out of connections which meant that I had to decide in advance which components I needed for a studio session and connect them up to the PC. Now everything remains connected and ready for use! I considered buying an external USB Hub but was put off by the many reports of reliability issues so decided to buy this 4 port PCie expansion card instead and I have to say that it was a great decision. The card is beautifully made, arrived the next day and was just so simple to install. Although drivers are supplied on a mini CD, these are not required for a Windows 10 installation as the system will automatically locate and install the correct driver. Installation was so simple and quick that at first I wondered if anything had happened, it was so transparent! Every USB device that I tried in the new ports worked seamlessly. Highly recommended and in my humble opinion, a much better alternative to a USB hub unless you have a laptop rather than a desktop PC as this card is only suitable for a desktop type PC.

Simpe and cheap USB extendable card PC
Very easy to fir and nice and small in the PC. Does help having the extra USB ports on the back of the system. Take a mouse or keyboard fine with no worry fro drivers when it installed. But this depend on your system but will work find in most PC's.

All good.
No complaints. Ran exactly as expected with zero install issues on Windows 10 and gave me 2 x 10gbps ports on an older x99 Asus board.

Completely non-functional
I very rarely leave negative reviews, even when a product doesn't live up to its promise. However this PCIE<->USB adapter is so disappointing I decided it was important to warn other customers. Simply put; the 'ELUTENG' PCIE<->USB 3.0 adapter I bought doesn't work. I have been using PC hardware and assembling my own computers for almost 30 years now and I think I can say I am both experienced and rather adept at doing so. Nonetheless I spent a little over three extremely frustrating hours unsuccessfully attempting to install this device. I tested it in each of the PCIE slots on my motherboard, from 1x to 16x and at no point would it properly interface USB devices to my computer. The best I could achieve was a standby +5v/0v output on the appropriate power rails. However, without functional data lines to negotiate power and voltage even this half-measure could potentially damage a device that was connected to it. Worse still, when attached the PCIE<->USB 3.0 adapter card misbehaved so badly during its 'plug'n'play' configuration phase that a hardware conflict caused Windows to no longer recognize my secondary hard drive. This problem initially appeared so intractable I was convinced it had bricked the drive. Thankfully it eventually reappeared when the PCIE<->USB 3.0 adapter card was stripped out of the system and its driver files fully scrubbed. The final and perhaps most concerning failure of this device are its drivers. Despite claiming to be made by a company called 'Eluteng' its own software identified it as 'Renesas'. This is deeply concerning, especially when considered alongside the fact these drivers were not digitally signed and the box had clearly already been opened when it was delivered to me... For any hardware made by a supposedly professional company in 2021 this is TOTALLY unacceptable and the security implications are horrendous. While at £10 some may consider the ELUTENG PCIE<->USB 3.0 adapter card to be relatively inexpensive I nonetheless sincerely recommend everyone to avoid this product. Save yourself a little money, a lot of time and even more frustration--do not buy.

Perfect!!
Sorted out a huge mess I had with hubs that just didn’t work consistently. USB speed is also consistent. I purchased 2 of them and tested copying from 1 card to another using an external M.2. I couldn’t get 1 of them working in a 8x slot but that might be a bios issue. Luckily I had 2 1X ports. Worked on windows 10 and 11 without additional drivers. I’ve seen some people installing these and showing images of things not fitting.. so, the best thing to do is plug it in, thread the screw a little and then plug something in at one end and something else at the other. Then tighten it. That way all the slots will be in line.

No immediate issues, but some odd side effects
Had no issues installing the card, or getting it recognised by windows. From the get go, plugging anything into the card worked immediately, and seemed to do the job. However, shortly after installing the card, I noticed that sometimes my mouse (which was plugged directly into the motherboard) would sometimes misregister. For example: If I was dragging an icon across the screen, 1 out of 10 times, it would drop the icon, even if I was still clicking. I would also experience miss clicks, where I had 100% pressed the button, but it wouldn't register, or would register as a double click. I also noticed that devices plugged into the card would sometimes need reconnecting, after the machine had been asleep. Removing the card, and replacing with a USB 2 motherboard cable, seems to have resolved both issues. While this means I cannot use the ports, at USB3 speed, I no longer experience the above issues.

Installata su MoBo Asus X670E-I.
