This is a pack of two locks that work great. They're a simple design and very effective. The locks are very easy to "install" and even when pressing the buttons, they are a little difficult to get off which makes it virtually impossible for a child to do.

So, I wanted and got one of these in order to hold the doors of my fireplace screen closed, so that my one-year-old couldn't pull them open and crawl into the highly appealing kitchen fireplace. It works, but ugh. I will not be using them. These are the most obtrusive (read, "ugly," but that's not the fault of the things themselves) child locks I could have selected. I knew how they looked when I ordered them, but seeing them on the black screen, so gigantic and screaming THERE'S A BABY IN THIS HOUSE, that I took it off. I felt like it instantly styled-down my home. I will probably use these for holding things together in the shed, but I won't put them where they can be seen out and about around my home. I got another style lock that is less obvious to the eye, and I will use that one instead.It is not the fault of this lock that I don't like how monstrous it is--they didn't hide that--but that is not why I deducted stars. It's just not a great design choice in general--if it's a cabinet you're going to want to open, it takes too much time in practice to squeeze the thing, slide it off, and then you're holding it while you get/put away whatever you opened the cabinet for. Then it takes two hands to put it back together. It's just not practical unless you're using it for a cabinet that you don't often look at and don't often access. Or, as another reviewer mentioned, if you don't want to stick anything on your cabinet--then it is a great option. I would have rated this as 3 stars rather than 4, but my dislikes were all readily apparent; it's not fair to the seller to deduct because I was foolish in buying something I was predisposed to call mediocre. And, it is $2 per lock--that's a great value when you just want a solution and aren't concerned with aesthetics. However, it's a low 4 and not a solid 4: they do not specify that it is kind of a thick bar--that's important if you're putting it onto handle knobs that don't have a tall post (i.e., so that the lock curve can't sit beneath the knob's end). If you are, you will need to squeeze it very, very tightly to keep it from popping off the handle sides when manipulated (like by a tugging toddler lifting the long ends vertically and laterally). That's just impractical. So, now I'd call this only good for handles rather than knobs.

Very simple baby proofing lock. Works perfect for when visiting grandmas house we can easily and unobtrusively keep my toddler from getting under the kitchen and bathroom sink that are not baby proofed. When we leave they can easily be taken off and their home is returned to normal.

These are great to keep the cupboards safe from little hands and mouths.Under the sink is a common area to store cleaning supplies and I always want to keep the kiddos away from them.These are perfect.I really like them a lot.They are made well and are easy to use and install.They do the job!
