Gel padding in the palm distributes the pressure of the wheel to a larger area and thus reduces the pressure on the nerves. Here, the correct positioning of the gel pads must be taken into consideration and the pressure points should be well padded.

Comfortable, durable, and indispensable
In a word - excellent. As an active wheelchair user, I'm out every day, and cover a lot of ground. These have to be the best gloves I've found. Having tried all sorts of gloves before, leather, suede, etc. (all of which fell apart within a couple of weeks hard wear), the durability is unsurpassed. The comfort is great, and the padding provides wonderful control and braking without a loss of dexterity. Cool in the hot weather and warm in the cold. They dry very quickly if its wet out, or if you've run them through the wash.To give an idea of the durability, the first three photos are my new pair, the latter are the the same after 6 weeks daily, heavy, usage. If you're an active user, I'd recommend these in an instant. Yes, they are a bit more expensive, but they trounce any other gloves.

Definitely worth the money
These gloves are incredible - well padded and feel like they are made to last. They may be seem expensive, but with these gloves when you wear them, you soon know why they cost what they do.I am new to using a wheelchair and have tried the cheaper and light leather fingerless gloves which are ok, but these gloves are just such great quality above the others. Would definitely recommend especially for those who are heavy wheelchair users.

Every day vs long distance
These are amazing wheelchair gloves, for every day use of pushing a wheelchair.BUT If you are a little crazy and slightly mad like me. I need a set of gloves that can protect my hands and thumb to enable me to take part and train for marathons, half marathons and other long distance challenges these gloves don’t last very long for the price. This is my third set in four months! However they are the only gloves that last up to 150miles.

really hard wearing
these have got to be the hardest wearing gloves I've ever had. The rubber coating wears off quit quickly but the layer underneath just doesn't wear out.Fantastic.

Well made but lacks grip!
I needed a pair of gloves for when I do my Wheelchair-Spin classes and the occasional road race. These are really well made and well worth the price tag unlike the cheap ones I've had before. Apart from the sizing issue (very unclear, I had to go onto their website), I went for the Unisex Small as my palm width was only 20cms, I'm male with small hands!. It's a snug fit. Anyway, the main problem is that the Kevlar palm material is so hard that it lacks any sort of grip, although it says it's non-slip!!! Maybe I should have gone with a gel grip instead. Can't fault the materials used or the craftsmanship... they should last a hell of a long time, unfortunately!

Wheelchair gloves
Great for wheelchairs. Feel really well made and a good fit. Shame they’re not in fun bright colours, but they do the job they need!!
