AXA Luxx 70 plus steady auto 939876 Flashlight Black

For years I have had a dynamo on my Brompton and also on my Btwin city hack but never even considered it for my racing or winter bikes. Question is, why not for winter? Especially as I am increasingly keeping my race bike 100% race ready and using my winter bike more and more.So, I this time as I was building my new winter bike I decided to get a hub dynamo that was powerful enough for a light and a USB charging point (a Shimano DH-UR705-3D Dynamo hub, 6v 3w). I didn't know which light to choose but saw some beautiful American lights and USB systems but the price was so high. I thought that this looked really interesting, had some good reviews and was from a company with production facilities in the Netherlands and was a fantastic price. The price convinced me that if all went wrong then at least I haven't paid too much.Putting it onto the bike was extremely easy and it worked immediately. Plug 'n Play!The only downside I can see is that I can't use the light and the USB at the same time. Obviously, this would need more power but the light simply allows one or the other. I only use the USB for keeping my Garmin 820 running when navigating and I'm unlikely to need navigation at night so this is not a problem at the moment.The light itself is good to give pretty good visibility across an unlit road. I will always take a spare along with me, just in case. That is an old habit that I will not let go of!I haven't rigged up a rear light yet, maybe sometime soon.

Quite bright! Big improvement on old halogen light and works fine with a bottle dynmo.

Very little documentation, but dead easy to install, really simple to add a rear light too - with literally NO instructions (push in the buttons on the rear light and push in the wire - its that simple) Used it on the Dunwich Dynamo this weekend and got 6 hours of bright light when I needed it most and it lit up the road like daylight but without dazzle.One point to note, if used for a road bike, you will need a separate bracket to clear the brake calliper, however Amazon don't sell it SJS cycles do, for a fiver, brilliant, brilliant kit. this will make the winter commutes terrific, and the USB function also works well, but not when you need the light as only one thing works at once...

The light works. With the light off it charged my Galaxy phone. That's all I need.

Had this headlamp a month or two. All good so far. The lights bright enough for city nights, the switch works, the USB charges, although slowly at 1/2 an amp ( 500ma) & me going at a gentle speed doesn't help. But it's all working and has been out in the rain 2 or 3 times ( not whilst using the charger - think that's too much of an ask ) with no ill effects. It's also quite easy to fit. I recommend it - good value when compared to other options. Should this light stop working or set alight - whatever - I shall amend this review.

Quite a bit of dust inside the front element isn't really inspiring me with confidence for a start! Haven't installed yet but the packaging was not sealed, hoping I've not bought someone else's rejected product. Shall update later once tried. Said update:- so I've been using this for a week or more while avoiding the use of my cat eye volt 1200 to see how it fares and given it's a dynamo light I'm pretty impressed so far, it's not a scratch on the cat eye even though I only use that with its 450 lumens mode but it's still very useable once you get the angle right and you wont be disappointed with commuting etc. Though rainy tarmac significantly diminishes its brightness it's quite capable of showing you down dark country lanes etc and if I have 1 gripe it's that it does this by focusing all the light into a tight square which really does seem to absolutely end at a certain point up the road meaning I definitely wouldn't recommend for off road! Since the same effect applies to the sides also I notice I go around corners a bit wider than with my cat eye, which is admittedly 2 beams side by side

Very bright even at low rpm! Requires some ingenuity to mount the lamp if you have break calipers.

Have used one of these for 18 months. Always on, ensuring you are visible day and night. Bright illumination of road ahead. Have not used USB feature as have never needed to - and you can only use the USB with headlight off. Excellent bit of kit and vfm.

Il miglior fanale che possa esistere finora, ne ho avuti diversi fanali della AXA ma quanto supera tutti, primo si accede e si spegne da solo e anche rapidissimo basta che vede buio si accende appena vede luce si spegne, poi camminando ad una velocità al di sotto dei 15 Km/h si accende il faro corto appena si supera i 15 Km/h si accende il faro lungo bellissimo, poi ancora resta più di 4 minuti accesso dopo che ti sei fermato, ed in ultimo la presa USB funziona al di sopra dei 15 Km/h è carica il mio iPhone 6S Plus una meraviglia. Comunque lo consiglio a tutti chi vorrebbe acquistare un fanale di alte prestazioni perché una luce fantastica come un faro di un'auto.

Bonjour,On va commencer par le point négatif : j'ai du attendre plus d'une semaine pour le recevoir (en Belgique) :-( Habituellement cela prend 3-4 jours. c'est toujours comme cela quand on est pressé ;-)J'ai eu un peu du mal à monter le feu avant à cause des fils qui se touchaient au niveau du connecteur qui se place dans la dynamo moyeu... il m'a fallu une plombe pour trouver le problème ;-)Une fois mis en place, il éclaire super bien ! (testé uniquement dans des tunnels pour l'instant), j'ai testé l'usb en rechargeant mon Samsung S4 Mini et il rechargeait :-)En fait, j'avais lancé une application SportyPal (qui utilise le GPS) et le portable se rechargeait tout doucement mais il ne perdait pas de batterie -> c'est ce que je recherchais.Le phare reste allumé quelques temps également, très pratique quand on est à l'arrêt au feu rouge :)

Montado en una buje interno de 6v y 2,4w. Lo ideal será montarlo en un buje de 6v y 3w para exprimir toda la potencia. por lo demas el faro funciona perfectamente. Lo pones en modo auto y te despreocupas de encenderlo. Da una luz muy buena, infinitamente mejor que el halógeno que llevaba la bici de fábrica. Compra recomendable al 100%. Si se combina con una luz trasera de dinamo, como es mi caso, la satisfacción es completa.

Fanale di ottima qualità, montato potrete subito constatare la qualità e la solidità dei materiali impiegati.L'intensità della luce inoltre è ottima, con un raggio di luce ampio e corto nelle basse velocità e lungo e stretto oltrepassando i 14/15km/h.Tuttavia tutto ha un prezzo: montato anteriormente se non opportunamente ancorato la luce si abbasserà inesorabilmente nei percorsi più dissestati proprio a causa del suo peso.Unica alternativa e stringere molto fino a rischiare di compromettere le plastiche.In definitiva un ottimo prodotto, costoso, ma non esente da difetti.
