My car interior was heavily smoked in and a few 30 minute bursts over a couple of weeks has eradicated the smell

Purchased this machine as i bought a second hand car and the previous owner was smoked inside and it was very smelly. For the first time use already took out a lot of odour from the car and felt fresher too. Althought it need more time to use if the smell is strong but is working very well.

Don't know how this works but it Does. Used it to get rid of cooking smells in a flat. Did a great Job.

Fantastic bit of kit, only taken one session to completely get rid of bad cigarettes smoke from my new car to me.

We have a wood fire in the lounge and do worry about the ash etc that could be in the air while we’re using it (which is particularly noticeable after its been cleaned). It comes with clear instructions, which you need to follow as you can’t be in the room while the device is working. We’ve only used it once and it seems like it’s made a difference, although it is hard to say as you can’t see or smell what we’re removing! I do think it’s a better option for this than just having the windows open, and it’s given us a peace of mind too in terms of getting a better quality of air in the house. Probably something to use occasionally, and especially if you have guests coming round and don’t want them to think you live in a smelly house. But be sure to evacuate all living things before using it, and air the building properly, and wait the requisite amount of time, before re-entering.

The smell it generates is far from what it should be. A nasty smell rather than a fresh ozone smell. Not sure why it is so but it is not fit for purpose.

I ordered this to help with an odour I have in a car I bought some time ago. The car was obviously smoked in sometime in the past and a good attempt to deal with this must have been made by the dealer because it really isn't awful and it is mainly only noticeable when air conditioning is turned off which isn't very often due to the tendency for the windows to mist up in this car.I wanted to avoid any ill health effects from this at all costs so I was very cautious. Having done some research, I decided to put it in the back of the car running off a solar battery pack. I set it for just 10 minutes. I left the engine running, air conditioning off and recirculation on. Because this was a short amount of time, I actually set this timer on my phone.When 10 minutes was up, holding my breath, I opened the car door and turned the machine off. I then opened all of the windows and allowed the car to vent for a while. I left the engine running and fans blowing while I did this.I only got in the car the next day to go to work. I drove with the windows down for most of the way. There was no real noticeable smell of ozone and the odour I was treating had subsided significantly. A week or so on it has returned but not half as bad as it was. I will give the car some more treatments and I am confident it will clear the smell eventually.One slight problem with the unit is the timer. Once set, I couldn't find a way to reduce it. Seemingly, the only way to decrease the time is to allow it to run down. This didn't really affect me too badly because I switched it off manually but it could be inconvenient if you need the auto shut off and it has been set too high.All in all, it appears to have made a difference in the right direction although the verdict isn't entirely conclusive.

I have been using this in an Antique Classic car, which didn't exactly Stink but it had a ....Scent like old cars do.When you first unbox the unit you slide a plastic tab out of the display to activate the internal battery. The display shows the temperature and humidity all the time wether the box is turned on or not. The display is 100% battery powered and always on soIdon't know how long it will last but the instructions say it uses a LR44 type battery.once turned on you will IMMEDIATELY smell the Ozone being generated. I think it stinks too. The machine makes a Hum/Squeel?Buzz while it's generating, you can also see a blue glow inside. You don't want to and should NOT stay in a room with Ozone, it's actually harmful to pets and humans. Frankly I would not want to stay around because I think Ozone stinks and the machine noise is a bit annoying.NOTE: Ozone does not smell like "rain" to me.So far I'm 5 Treatments of 120 Minutes inside my car and I do think it is working and getting rid of the scent. At first it just smelled the same with the addition of Ozone, but now it's just the lingering smell of the Ozone which Im sure will air out after a few dys with the windows down.I can say this, if you use it somewhere with silver/chrome or any metals or materials that will tarnish, it will tarnish the he ck out of these items. It left my chrome cloudy looking, but it polishes right off.Overall, I am happy with the unit and will say that it does work.The instructions say don't use it in high humidity but they dont say "how high", 20% ?, 50% ?, 90%...I have been using at at humidity levels 50% and lower and temperatures between 60F and 90F my garage is not climate controlled.I Hope My Review and Pictures Were HELPFULS to You !!

My admittedly imperfect first test was in a small car. This car has a water infiltration issue and was musty. After a 15-minute treatment, I no longer smell a musty odor.Why was it an imperfect test? I also detailed the interior immediately afterward and it's hard to be certain of the contribution of the ozone generator. The science suggests odors have been eliminated, and it seems so. I also ran an extension cord through the driver side window, rolled down just enough. Sealing around the extension chord with plastic or at least a rolled up towel would be better.It's very easy to use, but read the instructions for the cautions about ozone. I do not find the smell it generates pleasant, but not terrible, and it goes away with ventilation pretty quickly.The specs are impressive in terms of the coverage area it will treat. The unit is well-made, and should last a long time with care (read instructions).The price is reasonable given all of its uses: home shop, vehicles...I'm satisfied with this and recommend it.

I got this for my wife's shop, dog grooming salon so the whole place will eventually smell like wet dog, but for now, I tested this at home. This is the second ozone generator Ive owned and Im basing most of my opinion by comparing it to that. I'm happy to say this worked out great and is comparable to my other unit. Easy enough, you plug it in, power it on, set the time and walk away. Of course, making sure all pets are out of the room and the door is closed properly with towels covering the base as to prevent any leakage. I appreciated that this has several items you need to do first before it will power on. You really don't want this kicking on accidentally so having the power plug be removable, having a separate power switch and then you still need to set the timed dial creates a nice safeguard to prevent possible accidents. I also appreciated the temperature and humidity sensor. Its not really necessary but I think its nice to have.Overall this did a great job deodorizing the room I tested it on. This is going to sound weird, but I appreciated that the noise level is not super quiet. I didn't test it specifically, but other than setting a timer on my watch after deploying, I liked that I could hear it running from outside the room. I had to practically put my ear on the door but still. So, when it stopped, I knew for sure because I couldn't hear it anymore. Because you use a dial, 60 minutes might not be 60 minutes. But theyre all pretty much dial operated and thats perfectly fine for most people who hopefully wont have to use a device like this more than once every so often.
