Pretty solid for the price. The magnets are good, and it’s a workable chess board. It has trouble closing if the pieces aren’t laying down but if you shake the board around a little it will close and seal. That’s the price you pay for this thing fitting in your pocket. I like it

It's very travel friendly. Pieces are magnetic and hold pretty well in the car. Great gift for someone going to an overnight camp or a family going camping. Doesn't take much space at all, and it all fits in the little case that the board makes when you close it. It's a great design.

Great chess board and portable!

Really looking forward to using this on our trip. The only reason for a loss of a star is lack of an extra queen for each side. This should be standard with a chess set. Otherwise a great set to tuck away in your carry on.

Exactly what was expected. small magnetic pieces that fit in the chessboard when folded. It would have been nice if the inside was foam or something so they wouldn't be rolling around loosely but for the price it's great.

This is the perfect size to bring ANYWHERE. The magnets are also strong enough to hold the peices upside down. Very well made, and at a ridiculously low price. Thank you! I'm getting more for gifts.
