I had expected to install the app and start using this in my garden with my new mat and net. Frustratingly the data I was receiving indicated the longest I could hit my 7 iron was 133 yrds and averaged 121 Yrds (I hit my 7 iron 155 -160 Yrds, confirmed on Trackman and playing). After emailing the support email they sent me a ream of questions which I answered but to no avail. They were looking at me putting this into advanced mode and start hitting single balls and sending over data. I have heard good things regards this product but also worryingly I read a blog on Golf Simulator Forum from someone who had exactly the same issue as me, he seems to have been through the same process and decided to buy a different product which gave him the results he expected. I honestly don't expect to have these issues and have to spend 3 days on emails trying to resolve issues with a brand new unit that costs £1,700.00. I offered to jump on a call or Zoom to resolve but the emails kept coming but with long delays (over 3 hours sometimes) and only seemed to restart when I chased. Luckily I bought this on Amazon and its now on its way back. I was really keen to resolve this and look forward to practicing but this experience has not been good. Don't like giving bad reports and I am sure the unit should work well, may be if support had just got on the phone and sorted or offered to send a replacement I would have been a satisfied customer but there you go..

Summary: -Great product -Video analysis is a great built in feature -Accurate data (checked against trackman) -set up is key to get accurate speeds/distance -For shorter flight times (indoor) it will over estimate your shots by about 20-30yards. (My club speed is ~98mph for reference) -This would be 5 star if it didn’t have the miss measurements This product is great, better than most on the market for what you get as you also get 5 E6 simulator courses free compared to other similar priced simulators which you need to pay an annual subscription. I will say that depending on how you set it up you will get some inaccuracies depending on how much flight time the ball has. In my set up shown I have an outdoor set up (when using mevo+ set it to indoor, as this uses a shorter distance of flight time compared to outdoor on a proper range). It over estimated my clubs by about 20-30 yards on the E6 which isn’t too bad, I just take that into account and it’s still good fun. The actual data you get is great and although you don’t get face and path direction it’s pretty damn good compared to trackman and gcquad.

Quality launch monitor but at a price. Loved the fact that it came with the E6 complimentary golf courses (IOS only). Not cheap but quality launch monitors never are and it is considerably less expensive than a TrackMan. Easy to set up and works really well, gives you a lot of club information and appears to be accurate.

I have been using the mevo+ for a few weeks now and I am impressed. I have used the simulator and launch monitor indoors, outdoors at the range, and outdoors at the course. This product is accurate and very cool to allow you to play simulated golf. I find the product is accurate with the shot shape and the distance aspect. An example, while playing on an actual course, I used the monitor for my tee shot to show my friends. Not only did the shot shape match the tee shot exactly (I hit my tee shot straight on the fairway, and my buddy hit a slice), but I found the distance was extremely accurate. I use a GPS app that tells me how far I am standing from my last shot (actually measures from where I am standing when I swing my club to where I stand when I swing my next club), and when approaching my tee shot, the GPS app showed I was 268 yards from my tee shot with my 3 hybrid. The mevo+ showed I hit the ball 262 carry and total distance was 268.2. Incredibly accurate and reliable data. My only complaint is using the indoor simulator, I find the simulator doesn’t always pick up my putts and can be annoying having to hit a few balls before it finally reads it. However, i am still playing with settings to troubleshoot this issue and it doesn’t happen all of the time and is a very minor issue in my opinion. Great product for the price (as other launch monitors can run $10k, $20k, $40k, etc.)

Before buying this item I did extensive research. I’m not one to make large purchases such as this on a whim and want to know what I’m getting into before doing so. Hope this review helps people who like me would like to set up a simulator in their garage for rainy days or to do winter leagues with friends. This item was extremely easy to use and set up. Wirelessly connect to iPhone via wifi, instructions are in box and easy to follow. It comes with stroke play and 5 free courses through e6 for iOS devices. Simply download app, make sure mevo plus is connected through wifi and start playing. At first I felt like distances were a little short on driver (10 yards or so) but realized I play on pretty dry courses where the ball rolls out a little more. Went to a range where I could test carry distances and found that the mevo plus was very accurate. It picks up slices, hooks, tops, and basically any mishit. I saw many reviews where people talk about putting and short chips not reading, but I’ve had almost no issues with this. I play in the short indoor mode (8’ ball flight, 8’ ball to mevo plus). If you follow the recommended set up with this, where full swings are from 8’ in front of mevo, and putts and chips are 7’ in front of mevo, it works almost every time. Now nothing is perfect and there have been a handful of mis reads, especially when this device is $2000 vs many other launch monitors on the market going for upwards of $10000. But I have also played on a simulator that cost over $50000 and it had misreads. Make sure if you plan on putting, make sure you follow set up instructions and have 16’ of flat surface with no gaps where unit can see ball entire roll. I love the device and have had no complaints. Anyone looking to have good accurate data and a simulator on a budget, this is your device!

If you are not prepared to jump into an iPad, this isn't the choice for you. I thought android would work, but it did not sync with the e6 software, which is only through Apple. I might have chosen differently if I had known that. I've tried all 6 courses now and think it is a good selection. They seem to be accurate. I have not figured out putting on there, but I don't really think putting on sims is all that useful anyways. For grooving your swing, this is a great product to use during the off-season or when it is raining out. I'll upload video footage later. Pro-Tip: close flightscope before opening e6 in offline mode to make it work. It took me many tries to figure this out.
