I don't usually write product reviews but felt compelled to do so with this item. It's just been a brilliant extension to my small home office desk - just that extra bit that makes it feel so much more spacious! I can work off a second laptop on it. For the money, I didn't expect too much but I have to say, I'm impressed by the quality. It is sturdy and doesn't feel cheap, practical to flip up and down, and super easy to fit. The seller shipped it super quickly as well - arrived in now time.

Well packaged item , easy to put together and very sturdy. Looks good and has increased my work area more than I thought it would. Very pleased!

It's a nice little table extension, super sturdy and a great price, especially compared to similar items. The only downside/annoyance I have with the extender is that it doesn't sit flush with the table. There is a slight raise to it, so if you are using it to hold a long item, it's not going to sit straight on the table.

This is a really good extension for my desk. It was very easy to construct and it's very well made. The only thing I would encourage people to do before ordering it to check the dimensions carefully. I didn't, and, because it's quite long, I can't actually get my legs under my desk anymore when it's in the 'down' position. This isn't a major issue for me, as I just always put it into the up position now when I'm working at the desk. I'm very pleased with it. Great value for money and gives me lots of extra desk space.

the extender is good and holds a lot of weight, but it seems to be slipping away from the grips that appear to only be glued on to the actual desk extender. once or twice a day I have to take the extender off, peel the misplaced grips off, place them back on correctly and clamp the extender back in place.

I purchased a new desk one of these because my other was to flimsy. I was amazed at the design and how easy it is to fit the brackets, and had it fitted to my office desk in less than 10 minutes. This a fantastic item great design I am very happy with it , I would recommend this to anyone looking for one of these,. This was also value for money and it is strong and sturdy overall it is superb.

Pretty good shelf for a full size keyboard and mouse. Avoid putting a can of juice/cup on it though because there are two release clips on the underside which allow the shelf to fold away. If your chairs arms are in just the wrong place, then it can press against these clips and spill your beverage! (You'll find that you only do that once!). Also (and this may be the fault of the desk to which I have clamped the shelf) for some reason it includes upwards a couple of degrees so I've had to put a few washers into the bracket to level it off. Definitely useful if you can't have a conventional slide in/out tray.

Loving this desk extender so far. I've been using it for a couple weeks to add more room for my computer desk. I use it to hold my keyboard, wrist rest, and Streamdeck. These are my observations: - There are 6 screws you have to put in to secure the shelf to the hardware; 3 on each side. Easy installation. - This wood shelf has these metal studs already built-in where screws go into, which means the screws don't actually dig into the wood and so you don't risk stripping the wood. It's a sign of a quality install. - Once mounted on your desk, the shelf surface is level with the top of the steel bracket. It would've been better if the shelf was level to the desk surface that it's mounted on. The difference is only about 2mm though. This is my only nitpick. - I bought the faux-carbon fiber version, which doesn't look like real carbon fiber but still looks good overall in my opinion. - The hardware feels very solid and the shelf lies perfectly flat when extended. - The latches are very easy to operate and you have to operate both latches at the same time to put the shelf back down. This means that even if one latch fails, it will still hold up. - When you fold the shelf back up, the latches will auto-lock into place which gives off a very satisfying and reassuring click. - I have a very thin solid-steel desk that's only about 2-3mm thick and I was able to mount it easily without having to add many spacers.

Great for extending desk space. Sturdy, good quality and reliable.

An outstanding product easy to install (although I had to make adjustment to where the mechanism attached due to a cornice on my desk that I missed measured), great looks it matches my desk finish, added more functionality to my desk and very reasonably priced. A very fun project that is extremely useful.
