I have had glasses repair kits my entire life, usually tossed in a junk drawer and always available. but with the uptick in styles and frame designs, finding the right screw to replace one that had gone missing isn't always as simple as the $4 repair kit from Walgreens. Ordered this kit as a joke to repair my wife's glasses and once it arrived, I knew without a doubt that if I lived to be 700 years old, I would still have the glasses repair covered.This is literally a lifetime supply situation. For the price, you can't go wrong. Excellent purchase.

This is a very convenient kit, it has everything you need. I had a pair of glasses with silicone nose pads that, although very comfortable, didn't last long at all. The pads in this kit are made of a harder plastic, but they should be much longer.The kit is very generous in terms of quantities - I think this is really meant for a eyeglasses store or shop. I have enough to repair glasses of the whole city I think... which is nice because these don't expire so as long as I don't lose the box I have enough for a lifetime.Oh, and if you have some health savings account, check if this purchase is eligible. It may very well be.

First one the case of screws was broken. Second one the case for the screw drivers was broken. Quality of parts not determined.

After ordering two kits that did not have the sizes shown in the item description, I was happy that this kit included the pads that were described. The tools don't look as fancy as some of the other kits, but it doesn't matter since it's the pads that matter, plus most of the tools in all of the kits are too large for the glasses screws, anyway, and even the nice looking tools in another kit I received were truly junk. This kit cost a little more than the others that I returned, but this is a better value since it had what I needed. I broke the nosepad on my glasses a week before leaving on an overseas trip. No time to replace them or get them fixed. I was going to cannabalize an old pair but none of my old glasses had the same type of nosepad.I saw this kit and saw the price and figured it was worth a shot, so I ordered it. It arrived the next day and was I impressed at tge sheer amount and variety of nosepads, screws, washers, spacers and tools. It took me longer to find the video on how to snap the nosepiece out of my glasses than the actual repair.I qas so excited I replaced the nosepads on my wife's glasses and repaired an old pair of prescription sunglasses from which I lost a screw. I should never have to purchase any parts for eyeglasses again.
