AmarelliAmarelli Favette Licorice, 40 Gram

I've been a fan of Sen-Sen for a long time, but that's no longer in production. Cachou Lajaunie is good. I decided to try out all of the smaller licorice bits.Amarelli Menta is excellent -- nice tiny pieces, not too strong. The only ingredients are licorice and mint, no sugar. And get this --- one tiny piece lasts for FOUR HOURS. Even without the sugar, they are still sweet.Amarelli also makes pure licorice. There is something I detect as wrong with those. A bit of mint or anise makes that wrongness go away, at least for me.Highly recommended.

Didn't like the taste. Not one bit. I've had other mint-licorice candies from the same manufacturer and loved them. I was hoping these were the same ones -- nope!

I was really excited about this because I love licorice flavor. However, when it arrived, the pieces had been powdered to teeny little bits (with a lot of dust). Like shattered glass. So it's hard to eat, but that's ok because it tastes horrible anyway. I can handle (and enjoy) strong licorice flavor, but the added mint is way too much. I didn't know it had mint at all, but it's there on the front in teeny print. Do not get this if you don't love mint too!

I grew up in Italy going to the "tabaccheria" (cigarette store) where they would sell these liquorice tin boxes, I remember I used to pay about 50 liras at that time... the company is more than 50 years old and now that I moved in USA i stumbled in them and started to order them online... they taste just like when I was 10 year sold.... EXCELLENT product if you look for 100% pure liquorice with NO SUGAR added (beside for some variations like the Bianconeri were they are coated in white sugar coating).

Not sweet but strong breath adjuster with just enough mint. I am not sure but this seems like a natural flavor. I am opposed to artificial flavors that react with other natural flavors. These don't seem to react unpleasantly with other natural flavors.

I used to get these as a child but hadn't seen them for years. I was happy to find them on Amazon and happier that these are as great as I remember. Excellent!

Old with one package already opened. Went in trash.

Great customer service but don't care for the product.
