AudioControl PNW Series Car Speakers, 2.75" Component Midrange Premium High-Fidelity, 25 Watt RMS/50 Watt Max, 3 Ohm (Pair)

Fantastic. Have these powered via an aftermarket audio unit utilizing the OEM speaker wire originally for the OE door speakers. These were installed as a NON-EXISTENT midrange driver in a Subaru Impreza (accomplished by large holes in door panels haha…yikes). Instead of the factory supplied ~250uF capacitor’s utilized as “bass blockers”, instead I made (customized in order to maintain correct frequency bandwidths to correspond with the lower impedance) passive bandpass filters installed inline before each speaker to supplement the front sound stage. Both sound phenomenal. Yes, I could purchase a DSP and wire that in. And I gladly will if anyone wants to send me the $$. The lower impedance of these makes excellent work of the thin factory wiring, the mounting options; specifically the recessed machined threads, open up endless possibilities for mounting these that other speakers simply do not have. The grilles fit very well; even with the booming sound coming from separately amplified door speakers, and separately amplified subwoofers. 10/10, would buy again & again.

Great replacement for my dash speakers! Clear, warm sound

2 ohm as a drop in dash speaker in dodge etc.. well worth the cost compared to JBL / Infinity that frankly sound too harsh and not the JBL or Infinity of yesteryear (Dont waste your money on them) get these. Tweeters are not as harsh and bright and sound good. Great drop in to run on dash.. one thing i don't like is the mid vibration sounds on audio calls... other wise they sound good with music.

Bought for my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 Front doors. I did not want to deal with mounting tweeters as I wanted the stock factory look. I highly recommend this for a good quality factory look install. They sound great!! Plenty of mid bass and vocal highs to keep up. I did try them without an amp and was only ok. I installed the AudioControl A1100.5 Altitude 1100 Watt RMS 5-Channel and woke them right up. (AudioControl 6.5 set for the back doors and 2 Space saver 12" under the back seat)

Installed these 6.5 component set, the sq is amazing running them off of a stinger1000.5, for the rear I’m running a set of American bass sq 6.5 and for the sub I’m running a American bass xd1022 in a skar box. Bypassed factory amp just took all the inputs and outputs and ran it straight into the stinger amp tapped in the accessory wire for the factory amp and ran that as my remote, the pnw tweeters popped right in factory location may be different on other vehicles but the packaging for this set of speakers comes with everything you need packing is over the top.

These 2.75in. speakers were swapped out with the 2.25in dash speakers in my camaro, they sound awesome.

Big improvement over stock speaker . High quality speaker

I have replaced all 5 nos 3.5" speakers of the factory Beats audio and I am really happy with the performance of these speakers. Since they are of 2 ohm impedance, its perfect replacement for the 2 ohm factory audio of the car. Just cut the extra 2 mounting flanges of the speaker, grab a set of 72-7902 speaker adapters and plug it. Really nice upgrade.
