Amazon Echo Spot (newest model), Great for nightstands, offices and kitchens, Smart alarm clock with Alexa+ Early Access, Glacier White

This is a great alarm clock and was lucky that I found it on sale. It seems durable as I have knocked it off the nightstand accidentally and it still works. Connects very easily to Tidal and Apple Music. It's been very reliable as I haven't overslept since I have it set to wake me up to EDM music. Has good sound for a very small enclosure. This is a great item for the connected home in the 21st century.

This is a great device, the first time we’ve added to our Alexa collection around the house in years. It replaced a small digital clock on the counter in the master bath at the house… and what a difference! Much better clock, more elegant and easier to read, and the device provides the date, and capable of providing much more than that. But just out of the box, great! Unlike the clock it replaced, this does require an AC outlet, which we knew from what Amazon was showing in the description. But this is well worth giving up one outlet on the counter in the bath. Sound quality is good if not great for the size, and more than adequate to upgrade the master bath and open up music, news, timers, digital books we enjoy from audible (an Amazon company), etc. Super. Everything is hands free, which is great when your hands are wet in the bath or kitchen, etc. And setup really was a breeze, for users like us who already have Alexa devices in the house. Right out of the box, it found our WiFi (with an impossible password) and didn’t need any help from us hooking right up to our WiFi automatically and we were good to go! Finally, the price was right! These devices are priced very reasonably on Amazon, with no middle man, so to speak. Highly recommended. Enjoy!

I was looking to replace a 2023 model Echo Show 5, since it was beginning to lag a little: after the Alexa+ update, the responses/notifications were arriving on the 2020 Echo about a half-second/second before arriving on the Echo Show 5 ...which was REALLY irritating. The 2024 Echo Spot perfectly fits the bill: compared to the Echo Show 5, the size is slightly smaller (which is fine), it still has a visual component for what's necessary (time/temperature/weather), the sound is just as good, and the hardware is faster/better; moreover, compared to the newer (and larger) Echo Shows, it's substantially smaller and less expensive, which is good. All things considered, it's the perfect solution for what I needed.

The unit works great, just wish the time was larger. We bought this as we wanted something that showed the time consistently since our old Echo Show quit showing the time. Unable to program it. We wanted something more like a clock and this does fit the bill. The speaker quality is excellent.

For a bedroom or small office, it’s more than sufficient and never sounds tinny or strained. In the kitchen or office, it’s equally useful. Timers, quick questions, calendar reminders, and smart home commands are easy to manage, and the small footprint means it doesn’t get in the way. It feels like a device that quietly improves daily routines rather than demanding attention. Overall, the Echo Spot feels thoughtful, refined, and well suited to its purpose. It’s a great smart alarm clock, a capable Alexa device, and a stylish addition to smaller spaces. With the improved Alexa+ experience and clean design, this is an easy five-star product and one I’d absolutely recommend.

I ended up returning the Echo Show 5 because it felt sluggish, and switching to the new Amazon Echo Spot was the best move. This thing is fast, smooth, and responds instantly. I love how clean it looks, and it works perfectly as a nightstand clock, but it’s just as great in my office and kitchen. I already have about five Alexa devices throughout my house and garage, and this one fits right in with the rest of my setup. If you want something compact, sharp-looking, and way more responsive than the Show 5, this is the one.

Love that this shows the time, temperature, and date. Very easy to connect, set up, and use. I like that there are options for how the display looks and can pick from a choice of display color themes. Good sound quality when playing my music. Works great and as expected. Black color blends in nicely with my decor. Love it.

I absolutely LOVE my new Echo Spot device. It works great with Alexa+ Premium. She controls the Smart Lights we have around the house, my Amazon Echo Glow Night Light, AND our Smart TV. It didn't take much to set it up either. I am so happy to have a 3rd Echo device in the house. I have an Echo Dot in the Living Room, an Echo Dot in the Bedroom, and now I have the Echo Spot in my Computer room. It took a while for this device to get delivered, but I never canceled the order because I only paid $44.99 for this one (Thank You Amazon !). NOW it is listed for $79.99. So I got a great deal on it during the holidays. The sound quality is excellent and the graphics on the screen are excellent too. It came with a power cord so I don't have to worry about using it while it's battery powered. Because there is no way to put batteries in it. So I don't have to worry about battery life. I Love how my Smart Device Ecosystem is coming together. One more step in making our home a Smart Home ! There is so much you can do with Alexa. Play games, have conversations, go on treasure hunts (she can try to help you find things), play music, she can tell you stories or recite poetry, The list is endless. There are other colors you can get for these devices. Mine is black. But they also have blue, white, and, I think, Grey. It also tells me the current date, time, and temperature. It's great !! My only complaint is that I guess I am supposed to be able to change the theme / background on my Echo Spot, but there is no option for that. I can change the colors of the temperature numbers and the weather icon next to it (like a cloud if it's cloudy outside), and I can change the format of the way the clock shows, but that's it. Disappointing. I still give it a 5 Star Rating because I am still very happy with my Echo Spot ! I HIGHLY recommend these devices if you are looking to upgrade your home to a Smart Home !!
