Cheap kit
I picked this up as sort of a learning aid as a Locksmith, but also with the intention of throwing it in on my front door 🤦♂️. Kit came with a fail safe latch though, meaning it allows the door to be pushed open freely if power fails. No points off for the seller lol totally my fault as it is clearly labeled as such. Keep in mind for this reason this kit is really only suitable for interior door applications, great for doors on path of egress. The manufacturer seems to confuse the terminology of failsafe and fail-secure with normally closed and normally open wiring options when looking at the enclosed instructions. Again please note there's nothing fail secure about this latch, if your power goes out the strike releases. Wiring diagrams and directions are questionably translated but mostly clear, I'd refer to the power supply wiring diagram (mostly) but connect Com on reader to Com on power supply/ controller. I really just wanted something to screw around with on my workbench to learn about the components of access control systems and rf/prox hardware, so 5 stars as I enjoyed throwing it all together and messing around with it lol

Works as expected. Easily pushed open when "locked"
Works as expected. Easily pushed open when "locked"The lock just isn't strong, it clicks and is easy to open but when locked there is only a little force that holds it.Supply wires are good, no voltage drop.
