This little tool is great for trimming. My wife likes it because it's light weight and easy for her to handle. It cuts well and with no problems. It will cut up to it's maximum diameter, but sometimes it struggles a bit at those larger sizes. The batteries hold a charge very well. We were able to get all of our trimming done with 1 battery. I clean up and oil the blades after every use prior to storing the unit. You do have to use caution! This little tool will cause injury if you're not careful as the blades are very sharp. But overall, it's a great little tool. I would highly recommend this.

PERFECT SHEARS! I cannot praise this product enough! I have had other cordless power pruning shears and none of them hold a candle to this brand! The functionality of these shears is so easy and works better than I expected! I was able to cut through branches thicker than it's max cutting size! These things cut THICK branches and make it a synch! I've used these for over an hour-long project and never had an issue with the battery. It comes with 2 batteries, but I never had to swap it out to use the second battery. these things cut your work time in half! (pun intended). I love this one so much I bought another as a great gift to give to someone else. I feel the price you pay for this is a STEAL! I've seen these shears go for close to $100. The cheaper ones I bought before didn't work as well as this one.

I really like this device. It has a cut counter, and my first usage was 1700 cuts. The device is on a timer that resets every time the power goes off. I estimate that I have used this for over 5K cuts. Mostly Palo Verde, a softwood. Easily handles 1/2". 3/4" requires several rotating cuts. The battery lasted for 2000+ cuts, and 2 are included. Also includes another set of blades and a small sharpening stone. The cutters will cut off a finger (or the flesh to the bone), so be careful. I had to learn to hold the branches further away from the cutting area than I was used to with manual cutters. Once the trigger is pulled, there is no going back. I dislike gardening and landscaping, so this is a great device. So far, no issues. I would definitely buy again. But should not have to. It is good for light work, but not for everyday commercial use. My hand (male, X-large) fits comfortably around the grip. My hands were not tired like they can be with manual shears. It also seems to make the job faster. Best of luck

I cut a big pile of branches the first time I used it and it did extremely well. It will cut up to 1inch branches really well.

Just WOW! Much more than I expected! I had to trim three Forsythia bushes today and this tool made it so much easier than manually trimming them. I expected this tool to be very slow in responding after cutting a branch but it was very quick. You push the lever it makes the cut and then retracts on its own. This tool also has two settings one for larger branches and one for smaller branches. To set it for the smaller branches you simply hold the switch for 2 seconds and release it and then squeeze again and you will see that the opening is smaller. This is great when you're trimming very narrow branches. But with a squeeze for two more seconds you go back to the larger size of 1.6 in. I like this model because it also has an LCD screen where I can see my battery strength and how many branches I cut. I cut over 300 branches today and the machine was still working great. I like this model as well because it comes with two 21 volt batteries. That way when one battery goes dead, you don't have to wait for 2 hours to recharge the battery since you have a fully charged battery in your case. The instructions say that the tool will last two to three hours. I think I was outside for 2 hours and it was still going strong. I like the battery charger because it has a red light when you first start charging the battery but it turns green when the battery is fully charged. We have many palm trees and cutting the fronds were tough using Felco pruner. I am so glad I ordered this cordless pruner. It worked so well I was able to prune my palms in half the time. The only minor negative for me is the auto shut off. I leave it idle for about 30 seconds then it goes to sleep. I know it's a safety feature, but would be nice to be able to program a delayed shut off. Else, this is a great tool. I should have bought it sooner.

This is an amazing tool. I had bruises on my hand from my manual pruners. The electric pruners are so easy to use and makes the work so much quicker. They are lightweight and easy to use. So far I love them.
