Dolcetto Zesty Lemon Rolled Wafers

Lemon is my all time favorite flavor! And, this had the flavor AND the lightness that I look for in this type of cookie. Already went through 1 1/2 canisters and ordered a third! Best I have had in a very long time! 5* quality! (The only negative I would have is that even though they are in a solid canister, there is no separation between them, so bouncing around in transit, many were broken in half, but still tasted wonderful! If I were to serve them to others I would have minded have so many broken.)

If you like a lemon flavored cookie, these cookies are delicious

Flavor was exquisite. They were not too hard which was good, however almost all of the sticks were broken. I don't mind too much cause it's still being eaten, but still could have been better for coffee/tea with them whole.

Very tasty but very little for the price of one box

So, these cookies taste pretty good. They're a less plasticky version of the lemon girl scout cookies - same flavoring but major texture difference. These wafers are light and crispy which is great but because they're delicate, every single cookie in the package was broken. Made adding them to a dessert tray no longer an option because presentation counts. The packaging is substantial - cookies are in a vacuum packed bag inside the tin which is also plastic wrapped. A bit overkill, as the inner bag should suffice for freshness. The rest of the packing doesn't add adequate protection so, while it looks nice from the outside, you'll still end up with small pieces of cookies and a bunch of cookie powder on the inside. If these were more than $5, I'd pass.
