Love this item! I've had a few rubbish bread slicers. I originally looked at the zassenhaus bread slicer but for £136 I wasn't sure. I came across this on Amazon and for over half the price I thought I'd give it ago as it has good reviews. I opted for the package with the board and knife. It got delivered on time. It came in a lovely box well packaged. I love that the knife can be connected to the bread board too when your finished, great for storage. It's also a nice size so doesn't take up much storage room which is great for my small kitchen. I was waisting so much fresh bread because I couldn't cut it without it going all over the place. So I'm super happy now. It took about 30/40 seconds to slice my whole loaf the knife is super sharp. Wasn't hard to use at all. Comfortable to use. It seems alot to pay out at once but overall the value is very good.

The bread slicer with bread knife really lives up to its claims and cuts any sliced loaf with ease. The knife is extremely sharp, so care is needed when handling it. From a safety point of view, it would be beneficial if it were supplied with a plastic sheath around 2–3 inches long to cover the tip of the knife. Aside from this minor concern, it is well made, easy to use, and represents a good purchase overall.

A very good bread knife for the price not needed to resharpen yet so don't know about that.

Bought the slicer and knife, makes cutting alot easier, the knife is super sharp, be careful. Some said the wooden board isn't helpful but I use it all the time, only thing is the rubber feet not good on my worktop maybe it's made for granite or marble, but spraying water on the rubber does help.

What a knife! My wife uses it on our sourdough loaf with a crusty exterior even freshly baked. It does cut superbly only thing size matters! This knife is very long wife had quite a shock when we took it out of the box we used to a normal standard size bread knife this is exceptionally long and because of that you only need one or 2 cups at the most for it to slice through used it for several weeks now and still can’t get over how sharp it is a great knife

Very good kitchen tool which I use a lot. My only comment is that the edges the knife run along could be lined with a metal or hard plastic guide as it is easy for a ham fisted person like me to cut slivers of bamboo with the knife. Trying to compensate can lead to uneven slices of bread.

Ok, gekauft und ausgepackt . Brot auf das Schneidebrett und los geht's . 1. Verpackung ist auch gleich der sicherste Platz für das Messer denn es ist lang und passt nicht in den Messerblock 2. Verarbeitungsqualität 1 A, keine oder fast keine Spaltmaße am Griff 3. Gut austarrierte Klinge und sauberer Wellenschliff 4. Scharf einfach nur höllisch Scharf , bitte beim schneiden Brett unterlegen 5.Klinge ist leicht gebogen so das man wirklich sanft durch das Brot kommt, sogar durch eine harte Kruste beim Holzofenbrot, am unteren Ende der Brotscheibe berührt dann auch nichts das Brett, weder die Hand noch die Fingerknöchel Würde ich so wieder kaufen Preisleistung und der Rest stimmen einfach .

Das Messer ist top, alleine dafür hat sich der Kauf gelohnt. Verarbeitung des Bretts ist auch gut. Aber wer vorher keine geraden Scheiben schneiden konnte, wird es damit auch nicht können. Das Messer bräuchte eine Führung, damit es auf dem Holz bleibt. Ich übe weiter und überlege, wie ich eine Führung dranbasteln kann.

Ich habe das Messer aufgrund einer Testsieger-Bewertung gekauft. Es ist ein schönes und scharfes Messer, liegt gut in der Hand.

Das Brot schneidet man mit dem Messer wie Butter. Selbst durch eine harte Kruste. Selten so „dünne“ Scheiben mit einem Messer geschnitten. Absolute Empfehlung.

Messer ist sehr scharf. Bei Brotlaibe mit harte Kruste, schneidet das Messer gut, aber vom Gefühl her, geht der Schnitt nicht gerade durchs Brot sondern wird schief. (gefühlt nach links) Für diesen Preis ist die Qualität ok, ich hatte mir aber eine bessere Qualität vorgestellt und erwartet; und zwar einen akkuraten Schnitt.
