Great price for an excellent TDS meter, easy to use and comes with a decent quality case. I bought it to help decide when to replace the expensive filter in my filter jug. I’ve used it for over a month and can recommend it.

Complete waste of time and potentially dangerous to you plants as you can't trust the values: 1. you need distilled water to calibrate the device , 750ml to be more precise - this is not mentioned when buying the product. You are provided with 3x types of satchels , each to be dissolved in 250ml of distilled water I paid £5 for a 250ml of distilled water because I've read a review mentioning this, but had no idea I needed 750ml. 2. the 6.8 satchel was lumpy and didn't dissolve properly, it took ages to break the lumps. I think I got it done correctly in the end because the PH testing strip seem to indicate 6.8 PH 3. the PH reader was reading 5.5 , when pressing the calibrate button for 5s it was meant to set itself to 6.8 according to the instructions - it didn't. Either nothing would happen or when it eventually did something -it set itself to something else. From 5.5 it started reading 4.4 4. the EC reader mentions calibration but provides no instructions re that. How can I trust any of these products now? Thanks for wasting my time, here is a 1 star review.

As mentioned in other reviews the PH pen can take a long time to settle on a reading. It also needs calibrating with distilled Water before using. It is also not waterproof, so some care must be taken not to dip it too far into water. The EC pen is much better quality and is worthy of 4 stars on it's own, with a proper hold function and multiple modes.

Does the job, ppm meter is great

Very good, with all You would expect, unless not careful it should be fine. PH glass probe is just so thin it won't last one touch. Recommend, packed in original box with accessories.

Recently purchased a water distiller. The TDS meter is perfect and working well. Mains tap water at 112 ppm, dist at 2. the meter has given me assurance that it was the ccorrect decision to purchase the distiller. Thanks.

I was skeptical for the price and my fears were confirmed. The PH meter is great value, and accurate being able to calibrate but the EC meter is miles off. first meter i received showed a reading of 2.2 in a calibration fluid of 2.8. I contacted seller who was great. Responded quickly, and sent a replacement set within a few days. I didn't expect the set of two again only a replacement EC meter so that was a surprise. Anyway checked the replacement and that read 2.4 in a calibration fluid of 2.8....I wouldn't recommend buying the set on this basis even though they are cheap. The EC meters are just not accurate. I immediately bought a more expensive EC meter for 40 quid and that was spot on, so you get what you pay for...in the end i was happy enough as i have a back up PH meter for the sum of 16 quid. if you can buy separately i highly recommend the PH meter just spend more money on an accurate EC meter.

Couldn't be calibrated by the described method. Came with extra batteries, although these were already leaking in the package. Spend some extra money for a real device if you want to measure accurate.

Punto primo: è assolutamente necessario mantenere sempre umido l'elettrodo con una soluzione di kcl, venduta a parte, altrimenti si secca e non rileva più correttamente il valore ph Punto secondo : per rilevare il ph in modo ultra preciso è meglio prelevare l'acqua e metterla in un bicchiere, immergere il tester senza superare la linea di massima immersione e attendere fino a quando il valore non è stabile. Se viene immerso direttamente in acquario il movimento dell'acqua rischia di rallentare notevolmente il rilevamento del valore ph. Punto terzo : ripulire sempre, dopo l'utilizzo, con acqua distillata tamponare con carta assorbente da cucina e conservare in soluzioni kcl. Se si seguono questi punti funziona alla grande, è molto più economico delle striscette o delle soluzioni ed è sorprendentemente preciso. Consiglio di togliere le batterie e ritarare il tester se non si utilizza per mesi. Per ritarare usare le bustine x calibrazione da diluire in acqua distillata che si trovano l'interno della confezione. Io dopo averle diluite in acqua le ho conservate in recipienti ermetici in modo da riutilizzarle all'occorrenza. Il tester tds invece si può conservare solo con cappuccio ma rimane importante ripulire l'elettrodo con acqua distillata e tamponare con carta assorbente da cucina. Sw nom si usa per tanto tempo w utile ricalibrare usando una bottiglia di acqua minerale naturale da supermercato: controllare il tds a 20° in etichetta, immergete il tester e se il valore si discosta ricalibrate usando il pulsante hold Per cambiare i valori numerici usare pulsante shift, comunque sul libretto è spiegato tutto perfettamente in italiano Anche questo tester è preciso se conservato bene. Se avete dubbi contattate il produttore pancellent (email in foto) che risponde il giorno stesso (giuro) ed è molto professionale. Veramente in buon prodotto.... Top

Used it for hydroponics. Very Reliable!

Premesso che non sono un chimico o un esperto di analisi, per capire che acqua esce dal rubinetto mi è stato molto utile. Il misuratore azzurro misura la TDS che, se ho ben capito, è la durezza dell'acqua. Il misuratore giallo misura il pH dell'acqua ed è da tarare inizialmente con le bustine in dotazione disciolte in 250ml di acqua distillata. In questo modo si tara e poi si può usare tutte le volte che si vuole. Robusti e facili da leggere entrambi, comodi per il trasporto e facili da usare, mostrano i dati live e quindi sono molto interessanti. Volendo trovare un difetto non c'è nella confezione o nelle istruzioni la scala per capire cosa vogliono dire i numeri che appaiono, forse perchè per un uso professionale non serve, ma per un neofita sarebbe d'aiuto. Problema comunque risolto visto che nelle foto del prodotto qui su Amazon c'è la scala dei valori con l'indicazione del significato. Vedremo in futuro quanto durano le batterie interne
