Super strong sticky
Works great on my helmet.

Alternative to chinmounts
Strong adhesion, thick but flexible. Comes with an adapter/extension. For helmets like my alpinestars supertech r10, there are limited options for cam mounts due to the curvature of this helmet. This one molds well to the sharp lines in the chin area. Alternative to the company chin mount which charges $35-50.

Cool but value is not there
For sure molds to items better but dang overall not worth the value. I have done a lot of adventures where your wearing the outfitters gear and I've literally stuck on over a dozen of the 3m stick connector pieces and they cost about a buck or so its no biggy to leave them behind. But for these I'd be second guessing what I want to stick this too and how long I'd be using that item for. I just can't recommend a item that I would not buy myself. Infact I'm buying another 6 or so of the chepos for my next round of adventures.

All mounts should be made like this.
I have no idea why it took so long for someone to come up with this, it's a great set up. I would definitely suggest making the "shoe mount" version in this manner as well. It set up on my helmet, which has a very slight curve to it, perfectly and the VHB tape, as usual, is ridiculously strong. The kit comes with some kind of "surface prep", which is in a different than the alcohol prep pad. I chose not to use this, especially on my helmet, as I really don't know how much it would affect the tape's hold, nor the plastic cover of the helmet for that matter. VHB is already so strong, I didn't want anything stronger as I think it would have a high probability of damaging the helmet's shell if I wanted to pull it off. Considering VHB tape is easily obtained, I've reused camera mounts lots of times without issue. Now, that said, one of the salient features which is different than basically every other mount I've seen is that the base is a very dense rubber. Not only does this allow it to adhere to non-flat surfaces, it potentially will have some damping during use which could be really beneficial in high-frequency vibration situations. This really wouldn't apply to mountain biking, which is what I'll be using it for, but I could see this maybe being good for mounting it to/in a car where you could have that type of vibration due to speed and road surface. Maybe? Just a thought though. Nice little mount!

Great mount for action cameras
This allows you to stick it in places that are not purely flat. Hold on tight and easy to apply

Great concept with amazing execution!
I have been using my cell phone to record my kayak adventures, mostly different birds and some turtles, but I end up holding the phone in one hand and the oar in the other. Works okay when I am moving VERY slowly, but I really wanted to have a camera mounted on my kayak and then I saw this!!The ability to adjust and conform to a curved surface it SO COOL! And the surface prep included is great for most surfaces, but not all surfaces. I HIGHLY recommend reading all instructions prior to using this, and consider if you will want this to be on this particular spot for a very long time or if you should consider a less permanent adhesive for your application.

Strong adhesive
The adhesive and flexibility of this mount is perfect for slightly curved surfaces like a dashboard or a helmet. The adhesive holds strong. Camera mount itself is sturdy.

Strong adhesive, good mount!
The mount was perfect. I was actually able to use it for something other than its intended purpose; I used the mount to put it through a lanyard and then wear my GoPro around my neck. The adhesive is reliable and I believe it would be great for helmets.
