This is a really solid protective cage/cover, it weighs 630 g - I actually stood on it with no issues at all! The three main grill elements tubes are 6 mm in diameter, the remainder 3.5 mm. The metal has been painted with a very hard black plastic insulation which should ensure real durability if outdoors. The INTERNAL measurements are exactly 22.5 cm at the base, it is 17.0 cm deep and it narrows inside to 16.0 cm at its outer grill. It should come with four mounting brackets (no screws or Rawlplugs are included), unfortunately mine was missing one, not exactly a show stopper for safe mounting but a bit disappointing. This is an excellent item with many potential uses, it would have been five stars had it not been missing a part.

This stainless steel CCTV camera cage is strong and provides excellent protection. However, the wire spacing on the front of the cage is quite close together, which causes the camera's light and night vision to bounce back off the frame, making the camera almost unusable at night. While the exterior protection is solid, the design can interfere with the camera's functionality in certain conditions.
