Thanks to Amazon
Appreciate that Amazon has this item on line for purchase. Filters are pricey but in my opinion do this best for Las Vegas ie Lake Meade water filtration. In the past have tried all the pitcher filters and find LARQ are the best.

Filters for LARQ pitcher .
These filters remove the chlorine taste and floride as well as other things. The tap water is clear and taste good after filtered with the ultra violet light. They have to be small filters to fit inside of the pitcher so they don't last as long as bigger filters. They are expensive to buy. We used this LARQ pitcher in South Texas where water is high in sodium with purchased reversed osmosis water. The water started losing it's good taste in 4 or 5 weeks So the filters did not last as long as expected. Only complaint is they are too expensive for the length of time that they actually filter the water well.

Make sure that you know what you are trying to remove from your water
I purchased the pitcher to eliminate the use of single serve plastic bottles in my home only to learn from the manufacturer that this product does not remove salt if you use a water softener. My coffee does taste better but I cannot water my plants with the filtered water. I'm surprised that a filter that claims to remove lead, mercury, etc which have a larger atomic radius than water softener salt doesn't capture it as well. I am not a filter engineer -- this is just an observation. These are very expensive filters. My latest communication with the company reaffirmed that they have no plans to change the filter to include the removal of salt.
