The V300 records in 1080p and 1296p, and the footage is sharp, crisp, and clear. Even in low-light conditions, the camera performs pretty well. This is especially important to me, as I wanted a dash cam that could record in detail during both daytime and nighttime driving. The wide-angle lens also captures plenty of the surrounding area, which is great for providing a full view of what’s happening around my car, and it captures audio with the built in microphone. One of the standout features of the Veement V300 is its WiFi connectivity. I purchased 3 of these and installed them in 3 vehicles. They do not have an external screen and you have to view the video on the app that you have to download. The video quality is very good and sharp so I think it will be very helpful if I ever need to watch an event. The build factor is sleek and takes up very little room on the windshield. My previous dashcams have been clunky looking, but these are really slim lined and barely noticable if placed in the right position. My only complaint is viewing in the app is a little cumbersome. You have to follow the prompts each time you want to view video to connect your camera via your Wi-Fi connection. If you are out on the road with no Wi-Fi connection, the app will prompt you to switch to cell data so you can view video. It may be the data speed on my cell plan, but it takes a minute for the recorded video to load. (It does not come with a memory card so you will need to purchase a mini-sd card). The camera says it will overwrite earlier video as your memory card runs out of space, which I believe is standard with dash cams. The video quality is really good and even the night driving video at least is as good as your headlights are. Past cameras I had were horrible at night, but this one seems to cover what is illuminated. The app is really cool as you can name your cameras and I can view any of my 3 cameras from the app once connected. It does take time to pull up the video and if you are in a rush to view an event, you will have to wait for it to load, and if you have a spotty signal, you may have to wait until you are somewhere with wifi or your signal is stronger. That being said, hopefully I will never need to use it, but at least it is there if I need it!

The camera works great I got it for my wife since it was cheap, don’t let the price fool you it works great and is simply to install and setup. Just run the wires through your headliner and down the a or b piller than bam your setup. It connects to the windshield super easy aswell just a sticker and some adhesive, the design is nice because is small and very convenient to mount on the windshield.
