Double check expiration dates
The fish food and water conditioner packets that came with the kit were expired 11/30/2025 😗. Make sure to check before adding to your tank.

Filter worked for 3 seconds.
The filter motor burned out immediately even with it being in water. I have never had a filter motor burn out in the 15 years I've been fish keeping, this kit is garbage and honestly could've saved money buying everything separately.

Good start and worth the deal.
Kit is a good start, but the instructions are not the best. U can’t unplug filter frequently and it’s quite aggressive for my betta. Food and coupons have been expired for a year when i received it.
