No issue with quality. It's not very fast, but that didn't bother me at all. Few pumps gets things started, few more pumps while extracting. Removed old oil immediately after use. Easy and clean! I suspect that users with damaged units over pressurized them or left oil/chemicals in them over an extended period of time.

Works perfectly, absolutely amazing. I can remove the oil in my car in 3 minutes. Total time for an oil change and filter swap can be done in about 10 min to 12 minutes. Warming the vehicle up so the oil flows easily is the key. After a few oil changes you will figure out how to work the suction hose that goes to the oil pan. To get oil to flow takes only about 5 to 10 slow pumps on the handle. once oil hits the container give it about 5 more pumps and then it works on its own. Move the suction hose around once you hear air being pulled in and check the level in the container and that's it 3 mins. I wouldn't take $500 for mine. I haven't even tried the air connection yet because it would take longer to hook that up than it does to drain the oil. Also discarding the oil is easy too.

Worked incredible on 2018 Tahoe 5.3L. The extraction tube was perfect size. Just a few pumps and the fuid came right out no mess. Saved me a fortune.

Works great, sucks the oil out of my twin Yamaha F250s quickly and thoroughly. This by far beats the numerous electric pumps I've tried. Great for doing your own oil changes at the dock, on the lift, etc.

Worked good but a bit slow but other than that, drained the oil in my F250 differentials. Just took a while. If you are patient and not in a hurry, this pump works fine. If you are a pro and need to get done quickly, this is NOT the pump for you. I basically learned to set it and forget it and go have lunch while the compressor and it drained the oil. Walked away for an hour, came back, all the 90 weight oil was sucked out of the diferentials. If you don't like watching water boil, plan to walk away while it is draining the oil else you might be frustrated. Pumping manually while using air makes it go faster, but you can just walk away and let the compressor and it do its thing just fine, which is what I did once I learned how to use it. Make sure you have air turned up to the right pressure too. I started too low at 85 PSI, but could go up to 115 PSI and that made huge difference... happy overall I ahve it in my arsenal of tools. Did both front and rear differentials in a few hours... I am old and slow.

This is an excellent product. Easy to use and it is solidly made. It comes with an assortment of hoses plus spare o rings. The directions say that you should warm up your vehicle to make the oil thinner but I sucked 8 quarts of 30 weight oil from my outboard motor in ten minutes. Once you pump up pressure you can just watch as the canister fills. It even has a clever folding metal pedal to put your foot on while pumping

I had wanted a pump to help aid in DIY auto maintenance, so I tried this one. I've only used it once so far when I needed to remove some oil from my wife's car after it had been slightly overfilled. Worked perfectly. Easily removed the oil by sending one of the smaller tubes provided down the dipstick hole and manually pumped it out. Can't wait to try it on some other projects. I made sure the carefully clean it out as the directions stated since some of the reviews commented how it stopped working after a while.

Bought this to drain my BMW 320i differential fluid and worked, no leaks. Since I do my own mechanic at home it took a bit longer since I couldn't lift the car completely and get the right angle. I haven't tried the compressor option but for the price, worth it so I do recommend.

Very solid piece of equipment. I guess it has to be to pull a vacuum. Much bigger than I thought it would be. Used it to suck out power steering fluid from two vehicles to change it over and it worked flawlessly. Quick, easy, and no mess. Very impressed.

Works Great. Was able to perform an oil change myself using extraction method on a my11 golf tdi 2.0. The hose and extension fit perfectly into bottom of sump to extract all the oil
