This controller is superb. It is very responsive, has great range, no lag, a solid weight and build quality, and the hall effect joysticks feel very good. Battery seems to be around 12 or more hours before it flashed on mine. I use it on my pi retro gaming system and it had no issues connecting using the nintendo switch pairing option (holding down b and start to power on before pairing). I highly recommend and i will likely buy another just based on the cool color variations. I've played entire games with the analog sticks, and there was no point where it was uncomfortable in fact i almost prefer this over an xbox style controller for some games.

I like how compact the controller is. The hall effect sticks also is a plus. No more stick drift. One downside though, when connected to the Steam Deck, it only works well in X-Input mode, which does not support the gyro. If you try Direct Input mode (Playstation) it doesn't work, nor does it work in Switch mode very well. It'll connect and the gyro works initially, but as soon as the controller sleeps or disconnects, you'll have to unpair and re-pair it to the Steam Deck before it works again. I've tried updating the Firmware of the controller to the latest and as of May 2025, it still does not work this way.

I bought these for my pi5 emulator gaming. Works great and I've connected 3 at a time. Charge lasts long and haven't had any issues with joysticks.

My favorite controller for games is the PS5 stock one, but for retro, this one is my pick.It's not too simple like the NES controller but not as bulky like the PS5 controller. It has a nice weight to it, the buttons are responsive and has the feel of a SNES game pad. The two joysticks and extra triggers are a very nice touch.The Bluetooth connection is great but I should have got the 2.4ghz instead so I don't have to pair, just stick in the USB. Overall I played a lot of old school games with it and it felt just right.I ended up returning it because it had connection issues with Raspberry Pi 5, but overall a solid product!
