Great
Great little workbook! Perfect for older preschoolers wanting to get some practice in before Kindergarten.

Easy to use
My child was having difficulty blending CVC words while reading text. This book helped us slow down the process and focus on blending one set of vowels at a time. I love that they are working on sounding out the words to read as well as writing them. I had my child write the words before gluing on certain activities and it seem to really help.

Excellent Resource for Families, Teachers, Speech - Language Pathologists
This CVC simple phonic book has been an excellent resource for me working with a few of my k-1 (even a few preschoolers) as 2nd year graduate clinician in speech language pathology. You can easily scan and make copies for a quick therapy resource, such as the find the missing letter activity and I’ll laminate or have a child color/ sort the letters to the words. Great artic practice in initial and final positions and repetition can occur with these nice worksheets. Easy to assist a child in tracing letters/ legibility/ work on fine motor skills. Great for littles to learn corresponding words with imagery. Can target many objectives ! I love these worksheets and booklet for a young learner and will be using these frequently as an SLP!

My son thinks these are fun!
Tried these out with my 5.5 year old, and he was so rapt and engrossed! He asks for them in the morning to 'draw'. I'm watching him being to point out words in other places -- like "Good" or "You" and I know it's coming from these workbooks. He thinks it's a game/fun, but I am watching the learning happen in real time.
